Excellent hospitality and facilities Comfortable room and bed with semi-blackout curtains for a great night's sleep! The hosts we're great and accommodating, helping to find parking in a tight area and even bringing the car back in the morning. Breakfast in bed was also a treat! Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway in the old town! 5/5

While the water was hot enough for a shower it was not hot enough to use the absolutely stunning bathtub. Non the less value for money at the time of booking I would stay here again.

The view out my window was so lovely in the morning. The hosts were very kind, the room was clean and spacious. A breakfast was organise for me and it was so tasty. I agree with other reviews on the room not having heaps of warmth however once I was in bed I slept warm and toasty.

Rooms were located mainly on 2nd floor so you might need a little help getting up the stairs, especially if your luggage is heavy.

The owners were really friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely- served daily about 9.30. Do let the owners know in advance if you do not require breakfast for particular day. The location is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the main area. Bed was comfortable and the toilet came with a tub as well. Room was clean!

Absolutely fantastic! We loved our stay and want to stay again next time we are in Juifen. As other reviews have mentioned, its towards the end of Old Street (no stairs in between which is nice). Breakfast was delicious. The place was clean. The host was fantastic. We loved it

The host is very accommodating, nothing is too much to ask. Breakfast is great, traditional Taiwanese style. The room has dehumidifier and air con/heating to make the room comfortable.

I do not have much to complain about. The staff was very kind to me, and even brought me an extra blanket because the temperatures were a little low that night (I didn't ask!). However, if I have to say one thing then it would be that there was no one to help me check out in the morning (it ended up being okay because I just left my key in the room and they texted me it was fine!).

When I first checked in, I was greeted by the amazing staff. The lady who helped me did not know English, but when I had trouble with my Mandarin skills, she just used Google translate on her phone which made it seamless. I also forgot that they provided breakfast, and so I was pleasantly surprised when she asked him what I wanted to eat in the morning! Overall, the place was very comfortable and clean. It was also a short 8-minute walk from the main Old Street.

The air-conditioning wasn't working so we had to use heaters, which weren't as warm. The kitchen sink was not working and there was no crockery or cutlery. Also no washing machine and dryer as advertised, however the staff were kind enough to wash some of our clothes.

Great location with extremely excellent views. Easy walk into Old Street or down to bus stop. Incredibly friendly, generous and helpful staff.

The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to meet our needs and make our stay unforgettable. The location of the guesthouse was perfect—just a ten-minute walk to the bus stop and tucked at the end of Jiufen Old Street, offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The room exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout, ideal for a family, and its large glass windows that showcased stunning views of the sea and the surrounding mountains Jiufen used to feel crowded and bustling to me, but this stay completely changed my perspective and made me fall in love with the unique charm of this town.

Our room was spacious, clean, and cool with a beautiful view of the town and ocean. My husband audibly gasped when we walked into it because the downstairs doesn’t give away how nice the guest accommodations are. The location is perfect - close enough to the walking district of Jiufen where we could within 5 minutes be among the shops, tea houses, and eateries, but far enough away to not be disturbed by the lights and noise at night. We had modern amenities like the AC unit, a shower with a sit down bathtub, and large and plush beds and bedding, all among the small town feel of Jiufen. My 5 year old asked if we could stay there the rest of our trip! The host was attentive and gave detailed instructions on how to get around town, then even brought us up breakfast in the AM and held onto our luggage after we checked out so we could continue sight seeing. Had a lovely stay, and would definitely stay again!

Great view of the town from the bedroom, and very helpful host. The host asked whether we wanted a vegetarian breakfast and this was the first time in the whole trip that we managed to have a fully veg breakfast which was delicious. He also arranged a cab for us to go to the train station.

The property was situated up the hill and could be accessed by car. However we had to drive through a cave like structure so it was quite tight for our MPV. The scenery was breathtaking and the owner was super helpful. We had to leave earlier the next day and he specially arranged for the breakfast to be delivered an hour earlier (8:40am) than the usual 9:40am. It was a spread! When we needed more water, he generously provided a box of water. Also, they provided cup noodles and towels. He also provided many places to visit at Jiufen. It was a short five minutes walk to the shops! Nice place :)

- Would be great to have coffee as an option for breakfast instead of black tea - There was no water dispenser, but we had 2 bottles in the room - Towels were good, but could have been bigger

- lovely host, responsive and available for helping - Well located a bit out of the busy area. We could easily find it from Daganlin bus station - Delicious breakfast, not home made but brought to the room. You have a set time, and the host even asks if you want vegetarian option. - Good bathtub and comfortable bed - 5 minutes stairs walk to a bus station - Can drop our luggage before check in, or even after check out

Hot water wasn't consistent, and the water didn't disappear from the shower. Hopefully, these are fixed by now.

Great breakfast, friendly hosts, and an amazing panoramic view. However, it wasn't the best view of the town, and everything was a bit of a walk away. It's only 10 minutes, but it's something. We would happily go back to relax and stay for a while.
