They don’t clean the room everyday. Their toiletries don’t include conditioner and lotion. The bathroom lock is faulty and sometimes wouldn’t lock

deco style is quite strange, partly French, partly Ikea. No cleaning unless asked for, not even take out rubbish. Poor sound insulation between floors. No safe provided.

Size of the room, at lot of restaurants, convenient store nearby, there is a bus stop very close to the hotel, seems lots of bus running through. A good pharmacy close the road really helpful

Can tell the hotel is bit old although it had some renovation done to the toliet. The shower head of our room was not working right and it was immediately looked into..grateful about that. So overall was still good

The floor is not carpeted and I don't think the floor is wipe as it was sticky to walk with barefoot. Even after I asked for house keep the floor remain as it is .

The room was big and spacious for a family of 3. Shower room is big and good for elderly to move around. Bed and shower rooms are clean.

The toiletries in the bathroom seems old. Lights in the room and toilet rather sim. Pillows uncomfortable. Hope the hotel can perk up the cleanliness.

They can improve on their breakfast offerings. To cater western tastes. But considering it’s just 180NT maybe it’s reasonable.

I like that it is very near shopping. Chung Yu department store is 5 minutes walk and many dining choices around the area. Bus stop is also 2-3mins walk. At the back of the hotel is a wet market where there are lots of fruits. But the best part is the cleanliness of the property. Bathrooms are newly renovated and super clean. Hotel lobby is shabby chic and staff are friendly and polite although speak limited English but still we manage to understand each other. Also, there’s free unlimited coffee/tea/OJ/water for all guests. You just refill anytime in their dining area.

Receptionist was good and polite. Very clean and cosy hotel Very spacious room,as we book a family room for 5 of us. Breakfast was acceptable, serve hot porridge and some local taiwanese hot dishes.

Outstanding facilities and interior design! So glad to stay here as part of our trip to Taichung! Perfect location for grabbing some food at nearby night markets or taking a local bus to tourist attractions.

the AC was kinda broken, I lowered the temperature down to 19 degrees but it was still hot, 19 was like 26 degrees, causing not having a good time hugging her. The portion of shampoo and body wash were a lil bit small, and there was no face wash either. But overall, still worth the price.

It can take a while to wait for the elevator. Using the stairs is a lot quicker.

Reasonable price, good location, friendly staff, spacious room, free water, and the best part is that you get to do the laundry. Very convenient for a trip over three days.

The location is not the best should you wish to visit yizhong business district as the 15 minute walk can be really long and inconvenient especially in summer weather. That was our earlier expectation prior to our arrival. However, there are still quite some food options in the morning - local market that is accessible from the back alley, also their breakfast is actually pretty decent and good value for money. I would say the hotel makes up for what it lacks.

The place is in the process of renovation so there are both modern and vintage elements. The room that I stayed in was spacious but not particularly new, however everything we needed was provided. The staffs were extremely accommodating and polite, they tried their best to fulfil our needs. Will return if I ever come back to Taichung.
