It is not near to any public transport especially mrt, partly because mrt in Taichung is less advanced as compare to taipei and koahsiung. Also, the hotel can be more flexible on check-in time if the room is ready. Just imagine how good it can be if the guest get to go the room to clean up before heading out.

The location is great if you are going to fenjia night market. The bed is comfortable and it is very clean.

A bit difficult to plug and charging the device. The way for inform housekeeping is not convenience because we will forgot to inform. Maybe can set other way for housekeeping.

The location and environment is very good and over my expectation. Especially that upgrade my room due to stay 3 night at this hotel. The place also very convenience for 7-eleven, family mart, gorceries shop and night market. I will recommended to my family and friend. I will booking again when I travel Taichung, Taiwan.

There were few tables to place stuff in the room and there could have been more hangers for a quadruple room but other than that, all was fine.

I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel as it was really clean with a modern design. At first I was a little apprehensive as Google had many recent negative reviews but they turned out to be unfounded. I didn’t find issues with cleanliness, everything was neat and in order. The location was really near to Fengjia night market with many interesting food stores on the way. Parking was underground and plentiful, just be careful on the ramp as it’s one-way. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good choice.

Clean and new with nice design theme for of travel exploration. Convenient parking. Bidet had a dryer which is nice. A bit of a trek to Fengchia night market but walkable, though there is a big public parking structure right near the market as well.

The TV volume has been fixed. Too soft and we were unable to adjust it. Only can go lower and unable to increase. Do look into it and adjust to suitable volume or at least set a timer after 12 midnight volume remain at 30. Unable to enjoy our movies in the room and also the shows on TV.

Staff were friendly and nice. They offered us a room option which was not on booking.com Perfectly for our family. Love the toilet too. Will be back to Explore Hotel again!

Got to walk 15min to the night market , however to be fair , there were many shops in between .

The walls were very thin. Could hear the room next door’s tv as well as someone being sick at 3am. The light of the fire detector is also very bright, makes it hard for those who like to sleep in total darkness.

The location is not so close to the centre of town but is close to bus routes and night market

New hotel nicely decorated with a fun travel/safari/exploration theme. We checked into a large room, clean and comfortable. The location is close to the night market, and bus stops. There are plenty of options for food. The staff we met both at reception and housekeeping were friendly and efficient.

The lobby is very nicely decorated, and the hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Feng Jia Night Market, with plenty of breakfast spots nearby as well. Everything was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
