Best Hospitality in all of our word travels

Really nothing at all The lodge is located close to the rail line. So you will hear trains passing by. Bring earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper.

The room is very clean and has sufficient storage space. The beds are comfortable. The shower has great pressure. The provided breakfast is excellent with many home grown ingredients. What really stands out is the host family's hospitality. They are very warm and accommodating. They picked us up from the train station, drove us to dinner and back, and provided a free evening tour with in depth information on the Taroko tribe. There is also a free bracelet making session using the home grown Chinese barley beads.

The bed is plenty big enough but the duvet iis a bit small for two people. We have had this "problem" a few times in Taiwan where we are fighting for the covers in the night!

The location is stunning, very close to Taroko Gorge (only 10 minutes drive from the visitor centre). Our room was spacious and had nice amenities. But most of all, our hosts Lisa and her husband were very kind, sweet and attentive. Boya (spelling?!) took us on a short night drive to give us some historical information about his aboriginal background and Lisa spent time with us doing some small arts and crafts and telling us about her family. Their son also cooked us a lovely breakfast. Overall, a wonderful stay and we will be back when more of the trails in the National Park are open.

Lisa and Boya are exceptional hosts— I felt very welcome and enjoyed their tour, Boya ‘s piano playing, and making a friendship bracelet. Boya was very kind to pick me up from the train station and to bring me back there. The breakfast was exceptional and the room was very clean and comfortable. I slept like a log!

Dear Lisa and Boya, We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for hosting us at your beautiful bed and breakfast farm. Our stay at Taroko Coffee Farm was truly memorable, and it’s all thanks to your warm hospitality and the wonderful environment you have created. The farm is absolutely stunning, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. We appreciated the clean and safe surroundings, which made it perfect for our family, especially for the children. The main meeting room was a lovely space for us to come together, and we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play on the piano. Thank you for sharing the rich history and culture of the aboriginal Taroko tribe with us—it was both fascinating and meaningful. The farm's convenient location, close to both the city center and the beach, made exploring the area very easy and enjoyable. Your personal touch truly stood out. From preparing delicious breakfasts and coffee to taking the time to pick us up and drop us off at the train station, you went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. We felt incredibly welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. We wholeheartedly recommend Taroko Coffee Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly getaway. Once again, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and hospitality. We hope to visit again in the future! Warm regards, Jan and Misha

Lisa and Boya won my heart in a second. Lisa already contacted me before and were so patient with all my questions. As I had no car, they picked me up at the train station and also organized a driver for my next station. I enjoyed hanging around with them, listening to their love story and enjoyed the quietness of the property. Every morning I took a walk on the beach. Their breakfast is lovely and made with so much love for detail. Taroko is super near, you can walk 1km to bus station that brings you to the entrance of Taroko. One day Boya drove me, I made clear it is not necessary but he just said „I am here and have time“ - he is originally from Taroko tribe and knows the history very well. Come here and allow yourself to seek in their kindness and peace - and give it back equally.

Delicious breakfast and coffee, amazing details like cultural tour and music nights, so close to stunning Taroko Gorge and even pick up service from the train station Xincheng - couldn't be better. Expectional. Had a great experience. Had some nice talks about history of the place and their family, had a little concert with the songs on Chinese. Made great hand bracelets. Low price and great location. They also provided help for us to find the right place in Taroko to start our hiking. Would definitely return (with gifts haha)

Nothing at all! This stay was perfect.

The B&B is in the perfect location. It’s surrounded by 700 coffee trees and lush green mountains. There are flowers and all sorts of plants growing in the garden, and plenty of seating to enjoy the tranquility. The rooms are spacious and there is a great communal area where you are served homemade coffee and also get to meet other guests.

    Nothing really.

I don’t think there are enough words to describe our experience at George Coffee Homestay. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Taroko, perfect if you want to go visit the national park. The hosts are just the most welcoming and warmest people I’ve ever met. They make you feel like home right away and truly go the extra mile to make sure you having a great time by recommending places to eat, trails, and things to visit. They were so kind and though this was not part of their responsibility, they’ve taken time to introduce us to the town, culture of Taroko people, history, traditions and a little bit of their beautiful and unique family story. We finished the night by making our own lucky bracelets which I personally loved and the highlight of the night was them playing a song that Boya wrote to Lisa about their love story. The room is super nice and big, cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the best part if of course drinking their own coffee. If you’re looking for a place in Taroko, you don’t want to miss out on George Homestay! :)
