Breakfast no good for international travellers. We would have had our breakfast at 7-11 if we had known earlier. Bedroom windows (9th floor) and roof lights in the lobby / breakfast area need a good clean. Not sure they have been cleaned since the hotel opened

It’s situated near Zhongshan Metro exit 3 with many malls, shops and eateries, very convenient, the room is clean, cozy and comfortable, the breakfast have many Asian selections, they also replenish mini bar items everyday.

Hotel WiFi was very bad, almost non-existent. Some miscommunication with the staff. When booking, we asked for a pair of connecting rooms (that was 5 months prior to our stay) and the hotel said it would put it into the reservation system. Only upon our checking again the day before, was it made known to us that connecting rooms actually didn't exist in the hotel at all. Staff at the front desk don't really greet or acknowledge you when you come into the lobby or walk past it. They hardly even make eye contact with you, which is a little odd considering that the lobby is small and we are literally in front of them.. Not a deal-breaker but a little odd in the hospitality industry.

Excellent location, just a few metres from Zhongshan MRT exit 3. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. A laundry shop is also about 5mins away on foot. Watsons, Daiso etc just next door or a few doors down. Family Mart is downstairs at the MRT. Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Eslite across the road. Room is a good size. Beds are comfortable. Lots of channels on TV. Snacks and drinks in the minibar are free and replenished daily. Plenty of mineral water bottles per day too. We had a view of the main street but it was not noisy at all.

I was travelling with my wife to taipei. I booked a double bed room but there was not a single hanger or hock on the wall. The hangers in the wardrobe were not removable. We couldnt find a way to hang our raincoats and jackets when we returned to our room. The bathroom was spacious but only 1 hanger for towel, even though we would like to hang our towel separately after shower. In addition, there was no hanger or towel holder near the basin. We didn't know how or where to hang the towel after washing our hands. The area around the basin was stained with dirt....The air conditioning control on the wall didn't work. It was set at 21°C but we couldn't raise it to 24°C.

The lighting is not bright enough for the mirror in the bathroom. A makeup mirror with magnifying glass and extra lamp should be installed in the bathroom.

The chair with casters cannot be moved smoothly. There is no make-up mirror with magnifying glass in the bathroom, and the bathroom lighting near the mirror is not bright enough (too dark).

Comfortable bed, large room, and great bathroom. Brilliant location, very close to Metro. Staff were helpful. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would be happy to stay here again.

The wifi was a waste of time and we just Airalo which was great. Although the staff spoke English I don’t think they really understood it as we got a few weird answers. The lobby is very small and no good if you are meeting friends there before you go out

The curtain in my room couldn’t fully shut, letting in too much light early in the morning.

The hotel is in a great location near Zhongshan MRT Station, surrounded by shops, malls, cafés, and restaurants. The bed is extremely comfortable. I left my luggage with the concierge as I would be returning in a few days. When I checked back in, they had already arranged my room with my luggage. It was a very thoughtful and convenient touch.
