Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaI found some stains on several towels.. lil annoying
The room and toilet were clean. The staff was so nice, there were staff who speak English and Korean. Housekeeping was provided for 3 days, with new towels and bottles of water. The room was large enough, and the refrigerator helped a lot!

JapanThe room didn't have a refrigerator, I should have checked, but that was super annoying. Also, despite have 4 beds, there weren't enough places to hang towels. The bathroom was small for all 4 of us, and the residential-style shower became dirty fast. Wouldn't recommend skipping housekeeping, but friends wanted to. Housekeeping when it did come was late in the day, and not very thorough.
Fantastic location close to Taipei's main station. We used the trains and buses to get around, and was only a 10 or so minute walk usually to the various station entrances or bus stops. Staying here gave us easy access to all parts of the city. It's also super close to a local fruit market which was nice to visit in the mornings. Booked a room with 3 friends. The room was modern, each bed has a shelf with an outlet, about half the space under the bed was space for your luggage, and the other half a lockable drawer. Bed was firm, but we all slept pretty well. The room has it's own air conditioning control, which you can set to any function and temperature, but it often took an hour or two for it to adjust to the new temperature. On the 7th floor there is a laundry room, with 4 washing machines, 4 dryers, and 2 big tables with chairs for waiting. Detergent is provided and use of the room was free. Super handy considering the heat meant we used clothes quickly. For the price this was fantastic, a well laid-out modern room with 4 single beds, in an excellent location.

United StatesOur door key card sometimes did not work well in the elevator, had to try multiple times for the light to turn green.
Stay here for three days after arriving Taipei. We were able to take the metro from the airport to TP main station and walk to the hotel. There are many many exits from the station, one (either 10 or 11, I cannot remember) exit is very close to the hotel, like 3 minutes walk, I messaged the hotel and got an answer right away. It is a budget hotel, but still has everything we needed, water fountain for both cold and hot water, laundry room(4 sets with free detergent), comfortable room(small), good size bathroom and the location. This is our first time staying at the west side of the main station. The west side has older buildings and more rustic neighborhood. We stayed here for 3 days to adjust jet lag before our trip to Japan. It is in a busy area, with food, hair salon, foot massages places, bubble tea shops line the street. There is a bus stop at the corner of the street that goes nonstop to the zoo, cost 30 NTW dollar, comes every 10 minutes. We were on the 9th floor, had good night sleep. The pillows are the flatter but denser kind that are common in many Asia countries, we liked them, they are not the big and fluffy type common in the west.

United StatesWould be nice to have a refrigerator in the rooms. Or a microwave in the lobby area for guests to use.
Clean rooms. Attentive staff. Really loved how there were 4 separate twin beds, each with a little countertop to stow away phones, wallets, etc. and a lamp at each bed. laundry access was convenient. The staff provided waters and house slippers.

AustraliaWould be great if there is a mirror in living area as well.
The staffs are friendly and professional. The location is great, walkable distance to Ximen and Taipei main station however there might be a bit walk from where you get off at main station to the hotel. The room is a bit smaller than expected but it's still comfy enough.

NorwayThe placement of the toilet paper holder in my room was problematic – it hit my elbow when I was on the toilet, and its sharp design felt unsafe. I recommend looking into freestanding toilet paper holders as a safer and more comfortable alternative.
Flawless stay! Great location near the Main Station, friendly staff, and a large, comfortable room. They even held our luggage late for us, which was a lifesaver.

ItalyI've been given a free "upgrade" to a room with window. The curtains, though, couldn't allow to make the room completely dark and I woke up too early in the morning for this.
Convenient location and exceptional staff (kind, precise, fast). Room very clean.

PhilippinesNothing major. Only that there is no available flat iron that you can borrow and no cabinet. But it's ok cos you can hang your clothes by the wall and they provide hangers. Sometimes wifi can be a bit spotty so make sure you have unlimited data on your phone.
Place is new and clean. It's just about a 10min walk to Taipei Main Station and more or less 15-20min walk to and from Ximending station. Size wise it's enough for a couple. Comfort room is spacious. Love the Japenese toilet, a rare inclusion in hotels in the nearby areas. As someone who cannot live without bidet (lol) this is a major plus. Good quality towels, bed, and pillows. They only have 1 pillow per person (not sure if you can ask for extra) but they are very comfy so only one piece is not a big deal for me. Another plus for me are the 2 magnetic safe chargers on each side of the bed! Very nice idea. Nothing more to say apart from I super love the hotel. Hope they can maintain the "newness". Also love the smell in the hallway :) Staff are also hospitable and friendly. They also all look pleasing and clean :)

PhilippinesI didn't like how on our second half, the pillows smell weird - probably from bleach. We had it changed but the next time they changed the pillows, it smelled weird again. That was the only negative review. Remote control of tv and aircon could have english translation but a call from the front desk made it easy and fixed my concern right away.
It was a great 10 nights stay. First half of our trip was at Triple room and second half at Studio room. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the 24/7 laundry use is also a huge plus. The staff accommodated us really well.

The location is very close to Taipei Main Station. Z10 exit is where the closest exit to the hotel from MRT but I don’t suggest if you have a very heavy suitcase because they are many stairs. The hallways at hotel are always cool from the aircon on which are great after long walk in hot day. The staffs are super friendly. The room is clean. The towels are changed everyday.
