Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkThis was the perfect place to stop and recharge our batteries - such a well designed and practical studio with all needed facilities, super comfortable bed, fantastic hot & cold onsen and beautiful bathroom, balcony and smart TV! Wendy was so responsive and helpful, helping us to use the excellent guest laundry downstairs and also so kindly and swiftly sending us a piece of clothing we had forgotten. Highly recommend!

United StatesBed was a Murphy bed / wall bed. So it’s not the most comfortable bed. Sheets are cotton and polyester so a bit uncomfortable. Pillows are polyester and too soft so they don’t support your head well and your head gets hot. Need to pay with cash or bank deposit at checkout.
Everything was new, beautiful design, super clean, good view, bathroom was awesome with 2 tubs and a shower. Nice balcony.

SwitzerlandNothing, all good :).
The en suite hot tub was lovely with a relaxing view over the town to the sea, the swing seat on the balcony was equally relaxing. The owners provided some tea & coffee bags and snacks which were very welcome, especially on arrival. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The furnishing were in very good condition and would have been fine for a stay of weeks. Despite being only 7-8 minutes walk from the train station, the property is quiet and peaceful. The location was convenient for the train station and the town, a little further away for the beaches and port. There is bicycle rental available in the lobby at a reasonable price, though the TWD4000 deposit for two bicyles was unexpected. Toucheng is a pleasant little town with a good choice of places to eat. We could have easily enjoyed a longer stay than three days there. There were some restaurants 2-3 minutes walk from the property including a good breakfast place and fruit/juice stand. The concierge were all very helpful with giving directions and also when we accidently left the room key in the room! The owners were responsive and helpful, especially when we were unable to find an ATM that would accept our foreign cards. Overall an excellent stay that we both enjoyed and would be happy to return.

SingaporeThe walk from the underground tunnel from the train station to the apartment is quite scary, especially at night. Even though the booking is made through booking.com, it functioned more like booking an Airbnb apartment. Will need to double confirm with the host on arrival time, to retrieve access cards and make payment in person preferably. Didn't realise that the host had messaged me on the app. She thought I will not be coming since there's no reply for me. Luckily she managed to find someone to pass us the access cards to our room. I have thought payment will be deducted from my card tied to the booking so I left after returning the access cards to the mailbox as instructed. Received messages and a call from the host on payment we managed to pay through PayPal in the end. Host was patient with us throughout our stay, till the end of it.
The place is awesome. It has a separate cold and hot onsens. You can access the shower directly from the onsen, so you won't be dripping water around the bathroom once you exit them. Nice to chill on the swing chair at the balcony in the morning with the coffee provided and at night after soaking in the onsen. The apartment is huge. You can open two medium sized luggage side by side and there's still ample space. The place is clean and very comfortable. Loved the living room space where we can rest and access Netflix from the TV.

TaiwanThere was some dust cumulating on some of the towels.
The room is fully equipped (including a huge TV - great for a movie at night!) and properly decorated. Everything was very functional with a nice Northern Europe style. There are plenty of amenities, except one-off toothbrush for sustainability reasons. Parking spot was also quite large, therefore easy to park. The real highlight is the great hotspring bathtubs: yes! 2 of them! Enjoy!

PhilippinesSomething to consider it you plan on surfing at Waiao beach, it will take some time to bike or walk. Property is around 900m from Toucheng station by foot. :)
The ease of checking in and out, bike rental at lobby, entire room setup, soft beds and pillows, indoor slippers, tea/coffee/hot coco for free, and the fabulous cold spring bath with japanese toilet! The bath supplies are plenty too and the toiletries too smell so good!
