The staff was very kind, helped us with everything we needed and guided us correctly on our first trip to this country. The rooms were exactly what we expected from the description. Good location close to everything.. almost next to the hotel bus stop that passes very frequently and in 5 minutes you reach the beautiful Ximen area. Close to the Metro stop with direct connection to the Airport.

The hotel is a bit dated and there is this smell of smoke in the corridor (I was on the 7th floor). The toilet bidet is not working at all although the heater is fine. The room generally needs renovation too. Fridge is not working and maybe a mirror in the room will also help. Bring your own toiletries as these are not part of the room except for the body wash and shampoo. Breakfast is a no go for me.

The cost of staying is generally ok. The train station is walking distance and there is a bus stop right nearby. Convenience stores are also close by. The lift is working and the bedsheets are clean. Staff is also great. Wifi is working well as well. They have slippers in the room. We also appreciate the relatively early check in once the room was cleared. They serve round the clock coffee at the lobby.

If I had to say something that I didn't like about Walker Hotel, which is difficult, it might be that the carpet in the corridor outside the room had some water damage, not that it ever bothered us.

I liked the staff at Walker Hotel, I liked the room, I liked the bathroom, I LOVED the bed, I LOVED the breakfast; after our stay at Walker Hotel, fair to say, I love Taiwan.

The complimentary breakfast was nice and offered healthy options. However, I would suggest adding a wider variety of international food choices to cater to different guests' preferences.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall transaction was smooth. However, there was a slight miscommunication among the staff. We had already left our luggage and settled our bills in the morning, planning to check in later in the evening. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room we originally booked was no longer available. Despite this, the team handled the situation well and made a kind gesture by upgrading us to a better room, which we truly appreciated.

The hallway of floor 19 stunk of cigarette smoke. The room I stayed in had a slight stink to it but the aircon masked some of it.

Big comfortable bed. Food shops under the hotel which was super convenient. High pressure shower head. Big TV. Good coffee. Helpful staff. Was able to put my head out the window and I liked the fresh air.

The entrance and lobby of the walker hotel is a bit confusing.. there should have a big tarpaulin or picture or sinage going to walker hotel entrance

The breakfast was delicious! They serve asian food with fresh veggies! It's also a great value for money since their breakfast buffet was free so we have saved a lot of money during our 6 days stay at walker hotel.

2 complaints: The balcony curtain and some areas were a bit dirty and appeared to have mold. The bathtub was unusable for me. I am over 6ft, 195-200 pounds, and when I stepped inside, it began to shake and squeak. So, I was forced to shower awkwardly outside the tub next to the toilet.

Really don't understand all the negative reviews. I had a good stay overall, the room was spacious, the bed was large and comfy, and the balcony view was decent. Wifi was strong and consistent on my floor (7th). It is very easy to grab an Uber or walk to nearby places as well.

Furnitures needs to be updated. Tear, scratches, cigarette burns etc. can obviously be seen all over the bed, table, sofa. Intermittent internet connection. Cable is connected with internet, so if the network is down, so is the tv.

Liked the location since it is near the bus station and there are near food places and convenience stores. Liked the unlimited breakfast. Liked the room that we stayed in. Bed is comfortable. Room has a nice tub on it. Has a strong water current and water heater is working well. Nice balcony window. The room is clean. Staff are super nice and attentive to our needs.

The facilities are a little old and run down and its not super spotlessly clean but it is an acceptable level of cleanliness. During your stay the room will only get cleaned when you ask for it, but when you ask they will always do it the same day.

It's a great location and price. Big rooms with large comfy beds and decently clean. Funny weird art in the hallways. Staff is friendly and responsive.
