Although the rooms are nice, the walls are paper thin and you can hear any whisper next door. Make sure to take a good set of earplugs with you.

Located just across the main station, it’s very easy to go to and from the airport as well as take the metro/bus for day trips or to go around Taipei. Lovely staff, cute common area, free light breakfast in the morning.

Shower could have a shower curtain. It was hard to make sure that the rest of the bathroom wouldn’t get too wet. The door to the room was very heavy and if you didn’t close it hard enough, it will just stay open.

Really good location near Taipei Main Station, Taipei Bus Station, and a walkable distance from some night markets. View from the room was surprisingly great! We had a big window and could see the sunrise and Taiwan North Gate from our room!

Room had a very simple lock mechanism on it which would take less than 20 seconds to open without a key. Room layout and thin walls mean you could clearly hear people walking past your room to the main dorm rooms. General lack of ventilation nd airflow throughout the bedroom areas meant that the whole place smelt bad in the morning. Common area / breakfast area right next to toilets means both areas suffer

The place is clean and cozy and of course the staff are friendly and helpful! Took one of the earplugs but i never use it there, it’s spacious enough and every other guest was so careful and mindful. Really appreciate that! There are also a lot of maps and to go places that you can refer to if you have no idea where to go next!

About the facility nothing.. But i think they need to remind the guest about the rules when it comes to lowering their voice when talking specially at night, coz they can disturb those people who are already resting and sleeping .

breakfast is very little and toast/sweet spreads only, only salty/not sweat option would be nice . we just used it 1 day because of it and other days went out

NOTHING I dislike !!! I will always stay here whenever I go to Taipei again ! Note to newcomers : It is very easy to find this hostel. Just across the road from the old post office to the lovely Cafe Club. This hostel is right next door at your right hand side on the 6th floor ! Besides, the underground train (MRT) station for going to the airport is just across the road opposite to the hostel !!!

1. Very friendly very helpful staff members. 2. Very kind owner. 3. Most beautiful view of Taipei’s most important road : Train station, old post office, the lovable north gate from Ching Dynast !!! I agree 100% with the owner of the hostel that this view is the most precious special view of Taipei City ! I sat there on hostel’s specially-designed meeting room of 3-level platform a lot of the time, just staring quietly at that gorgeous view while school-day happy memories walking along that main road passing the old post office kept flooding back onto my mind’s screen ! 4. Cozy comfy capsule bed. 5. Very well-equipped kitchen with fridge / freezer, microwave oven, toaster, and all gadgets, cutlery, and crockery you need. 5. Lovely breakfast buffet very lovingly personally prepared by our Mr owner of the hostel ! And much more !!!
