Comes with breakfast. Private onsen was nice.

Some areas of the room had mold.

Good location, walking distance to the local attractions.

Quiet and boutique style, away from the crowd. Has both common and personal pool in room. Breakfast was scrumptious. Checked out very early morning to hike Yangmingshan; staff was kind enough to let me have a soak at the common pool after I returned to pick up my luggage - very much needed to soothe my aching body!

Private bathroom a bit moldy/paint peeling; the partition between the shower and toilet bowl area is too small and the drainage wasn’t that good, so ended up with water flowing into the toilet bowl area making the whole place rather wet. Common bath can get a little dirty from inconsiderate users leaving their trash around. A relatively far walk from Xinbeitou Station up a gentle slope; shouldn’t be too much of an issue in normal times but definitely a huge hurdle with a battered body after a hike up Yangmingshan.

Very relaxing. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Right in Beitou, though even short walks can be tiring given how hilly it is.

The public bath the hotel is small, but the in-room tubs are a nice touch. Whole area smells slightly of sulphur, but this is unavoidable.

I loved the Western breakfast. There is a good assortment of food on the plate. The staff is helpful and very polite. Also, the hot springs is conveniently available at the hotel whenever you feel like having a dip.

Rooms should provide hangers instead of wardrobes where clothes have to be folded. There is no place to air dry jackets that are damp from rain. Also, Water House can consider offering dinner for guests who have just finished with the hot spring and do not wish to step out of the hotel for dinner.

Bedroom light is little dark

The staff were very hard working. Despite the language barrier, we managed to communicate and sort everything out. They were very accommodating.

There are 2 options, western or chinese cuisine. We ordered one each, and both were really tasty.

Clean, confortable and good location The hot spring was very nice aswell and we could really relax Staff was super nice and dedicated aswell!

Maybe the AC was a little loud for us

Big in-room outdoor onsen. Spacious room, comfortable stay, excellent hospitality.

The restaurant was closed for dinner. Official check in time is 6pm even though the staff let us check in at 4.30pm. I wish that the official check in time were 3pm.

The in room bath is big enough for too people, and the location is very nice just a few minutes walk from everywhere in Beitou.

Overall not very clean, and quite noisy from other rooms and even the street. Breakfast was included, but too greasy and not very tasty, we tried both Chinese and western versions. Price was too high for what you get.

the hot spring tub was good

the room was very small and bed were not comfy. No table for any good. Staff only care about money instead of hospitality. Although the reservation was pre-paid and it's non-refundable, staff tried to ask us to pay the fee in cash again at check in !?!? Staff were very worry about money instead of treating guest with hospitality, seems cannot trust booking.com then why list there !?

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is simple but tastefully decorated. It exhales calm, quiet and relaxation. It is right in front of the park, so you can hear the mineral water stream and cicadas when you open the room’s window. The staff upgraded our room, which was larger and featured a private onsen in a comfortably-sized bathroom overlooking the park. The shared Japanese-style onsen is very clean and calming. The staff was very kind and welcoming. My partner had a personal delicate issue concerning the shared onsen which the staff dealt perfectly with a lot of understanding and graciousness. It was also my partner’s birthday, and the hotel prepared a lovely set of cakes for us. We left Water House absolutely restored and nourished. All in all, I will absolutely stay in this hotel when I return to Beitou.

The design is nice. Room is a bit small but has in-room hot spring bath which is very private and convenient.

Around hot spring area, it’s a bit boring and no instruction in English. The breakfast set is as same as every morning.
