The hostel is really nice and clean, it’s also one of the best bed I have stayed at (because of all the storage and shelves). And the managers are very kind and helpful as well :) Would definetly recommend to stay there!

Quiet, clean, nice location

One of the best hostels i have been to, amazing design, so clean and great location!

It’s a bit hidden in the back alley but it’s really near the 7-11 and there’s a bunch of food and milk tea shops near the hostel. If you have a scooter or bicycle, it’s easy to reach all the touristy spots. I stayed on a weekday so there was only me and one other person in the room which was great because there was no wait time for anything.

Once nightfalls, there were a lot of flying insects in the lobby, and I saw a huge spider in the first floor toilet. I understand we’re on an island but just be warned for anyone scared of insects and big bugs…

This place exceeded all my expectations ! First the location is in a very lively neighbourhood but a little way of the main street (around 50 meters) which makes the place peaceful. The common room is spacious if you wanna have a drink with your friends, work, read, or meet new people. Concerning the room, I traveled during Lunar New Year so the hostel was almost empty (so was my room), so I didn't had to care about the noise in the room and I could sleep without any problems. The bathroom is separated for men and women, and so is with the rooms. The bathroom was really clean and you had access to body wash, shampoo, and a hairdryer. The bed was really spacious and comfortable. There's nothing bad to say about the accommodation it self!

Only my small thing, the owner doesn't speak really good English but is still trying to help you to satisfy you.

The ac was set at 25, but the individual pods have their own adjustable air vent. Pod’s blackout curtains were thick, blocking light, sounds and the cold. Easy 15 minute walk from the port and they rented a scooter for me=all very convenient Center of town with Seven at the corner Fridge available for common use Shower with hot water, soap and shampoo Bed had a sheet, blanket and pillow A window to check the weather Pod included a (bright!) reading light, clothes hangers and a locker Pod is generally tall enough to stand in though you might double check the sleeping area if you are over 6’

My complaint—after confirming the reservation, I received an email stating my reservation was, in fact, not confirmed. And that, in order to hold my reservation, I had to download a Taiwanese app, load my credit card there, and pay a deposit the same price as the entire reservation, but on that separate app. Like, what’s the point of using Booking if I have to have some random separate app to have a reservation? What’s the point of cash, if you're charging my credit card anyway? They post those restrictions in a photo on Booking which, I suppose, is how they get around the Booking rules against this. While traveling, I’m rarely going to have the internet bandwidth to download a new app and I’m not loading my credit card into some rando app while traveling in a foreign country. In this case, I literally never saw the message til the next day. And they honored my reservation without question. But I would be very nervous making a reservation here if the island was full. I don't know if they would straight up cancel your reservation even after a Booking confirmation. And then, a full two weeks later, I received an email from Booking asking if I actually even stayed and fulfilled my reservation at all?! Now, I'm nervous about it all over again. I am watching my credit card closely. I paid the attendant in NTD onsite. Honestly, there have been zero actual issues so far! Just a bunch of nerve-wracking red flags.

The host was really great- he was helpful, kind, and friendly. The facilities are really clean, modern, and well designed. The bunk beds had enough storage and there were lockers in case you needed them. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

The place doesn’t provide towels, but you can rent one. No laundry on-site. Also I thought it was worth noting that the host/owner lives onsite and that it seems to be his primary residence -it wasn’t good or bad, just different and unexpected.
