Free breakfast was fair, more choices on toast and paste was better. Not many selections on morning didhes.

The bathroom provided shower and bathtub which was great for a visitor whom wanted a relaxing bath. Great room for visitors of two.

The hotel is well-located and overall quite good. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The towels provided had holes in them, and the breakfast was of poor quality.

This hotel felt deluxe, but we got it at a good price. Check-in/out was easy. Staff was kind and professional. Large and very good breakfast. Our room was huge! It had all we needed. The only problem was our room wasn't sound-proofed well and we had noisy neighbors. Otherwise very good. Next time I would get a room with a window—without sunlight, I can't wake up correctly. Hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from an MRT station. This hotel was a good home base for exploring Taipei.

Bed was super hard, carpet could need a makeover.

Bathroom was always very clean, although one has to get used to the japanse style toilet (toilet paper disposal not possible in the toilet, need to use bin next to it or the integrated water fountain ;-) ). staff was always trying to support us with our requests. location was superb, within walking distance to Zhonshan Elementary School (orange line). Carrefour and several 7/11 and Family Mart around the corner. price per night was good.

The temperature is new to us because we came from a tropical island but we enjoyed it.

The breakfast was great, there's a lot of choices from the menu. We like the warm soy milk. The location is perfect to the place where we need to attend the conference, There's an easy access to different stores and restaurants.

only thing was that the toilet seat warmer and bidet was broken so we couldnt turn it on, the hooks for clothes in the toilet was broken too so out of 3 hooks we could only use 1. and the breakfast provided was not bad? but the options werent that good either, best to just find your own breakfast unless you dont mind theirs.

i think location was good because it was near the the metro station, also not very far from the main city attractions. the room was spacious for 2. loved the size and layout. it was clean, water was clean.

Hard to adjust the water temperature during bath time. The water can be sudden go hotter and inconsistent.. Daily breakfast with limited choices (few condiments for plain porridge + bread)

The arrangement of furniture in the room is a little strange - the TV is super near the couch. Not really enough hangers for a room for three.

Convenient location - near Zhongshan Elementary, POYA departmental store (saved me when I ran out of necessities!), and walking distance to Tamsui-Xinyi (red) metro line making it accessible to many places.

Staff not very nice, e.g. my wife alone performed the checkin with a baby and 3 bags yet they didn’t help her whatsoever and then woke then up 3 times to ask for payment, although it was already fully paid in advance. The breakfast is basic but ok. The breakfast lady was great though and helped us.

The breakfast was not very good compared to what I had experienced at other hotels -costing less - in Taiwan. Particular attention needs to be paid to improve the presentation for western expectations of what breakfast is.

The hot water never got really hot, so the bath was lukewarm at best. The breakfast buffet wasn’t good at all.

The hot shower water needed to have some attention. It seemed to me it was not warm enough for me to take a shower.

I really enjoyed my stay at this downtown hotel. Closed to one of the MRT station, within walking distance.
