I can't say enough. It touched my soul. Integrated relaxed simple top level human care & comfort. Unbelievable location super convenient to Toroko, gas, 7-11, train. Yet on a quiet country road on the side of an old village. "3 minute" bike ride (I didn't measure, but SOOO near) from amazing ocean. Tremendous freshly prepared breakfast. Super well organized spacious house. Room luxurious. Stunning setting (photo says it all). Hostess of the house is gracious with high standards and a super light touch. The host was very friendly and helpful. As Taroko was closed due to the April earthquake, she had suggestions for alternatives like ATV or whale watching. She will help book. Breakfast is delicious and very abundant while healthy. Very spacious room with high ceilings.

Some hooks to hang the bath towels in the bathroom. Marble floor of the house is beautiful, but slippery. Luckily the hostess insists we take off our shoes before entry, as is typical in this part of Taiwan.

Good location, very near the entrance to Taroko Gorge National Park. Best approach during the day. English language GPS address not accurate enough. Chinese language address is accurate & correct.

Location a little bit off Xincheng centrum or Hualien, but near the entry of Taroko (10 minutes by car). Very nice and comfortable room, outlook to the garden and mountains. You can hear trains as a rail is nearby. But no problem during the night. Parking was easy, enough space for all quests. Breakfast was very good, varied every day. Host was very nice and helpful.

Area requires a bit of walking or a car rental— we don’t mind walking but make sure to research the area first. Of course not a reflection of the property itself and we knew what we were getting into.

Breakfast was amazing and healthy, our host was so nice and accommodating, room was spotless and such a nice change of pace from Taipei! We had a great time. Matches pictures perfectly and has a great view of the mountains from the area. Host offered to pick us up to/from train station which was such a nice favor—Uber and 55688 are a bit finicky in the area so it helped a bunch.

Nothing really. Maybe a kettle in the room would have been nice, but hot water was always available in the breakfast area.

The house is very quiet. Close enough to the main road to be easily reachable, far enough to be quiet. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. For example: We arrived very shortly after a typhoon, so the supermarkets didn't have any fresh fruit (only bananas). When we mentioned this, the host bought fresh fruit for us some place else the very same day. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The place is only 20 minutes by car from Taroko NP, 25 minutes from the next bigger city (Hualien), though nothing is in walking distance. The host had many useful informations and tips for Taroko NP, regrettably because of the typhoon most hikes were closed.

We stayed in a triple room which is very spacious, both the room and washroom. Bed is very comfortable. Though raining outside and humid, the room is dry and crisp. Host is very friendly and you can enjoy tea, coffee, snack at any time. The breakfast is delicious with fruit and vegetables.
