Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It could have been cleaner there was a lot of mould and some hairs in the bathroom when we got in there. Could just see that the tiled walls and intricate areas in bathroom and bedroom hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. They don’t provide towels. Room is basic they only provide basics e.g bed, tv, air con, bathroom
It’s quiet and convenient location to the station. The woman working at reception is friendly and they kindly let us drop our luggage off before check in. It also feels safe.

Shared bathroom kind of outdated and looks like equipment room
Great location, close to Keelung and Jiufen. Train and bus stations close by.

The room was very small. There was a lot of light in the room....wear an eye mask. There was quite a bit of noise from the laneway.
The location near the food court and the train station is excellent. The price was reasonable.

No storage space in the room, no towels provided (just some paper ones). There were many noises around midnight of someone moving furnitures…
Excellent location, close to the train station for the Pingxi Line and to buses to Jiufen/Keelung/Taipei. Many nice options for food around and a family mart close by for emergencies. Staff were very nice, beds were comfortable with nice big shower/toilet room.

The towels are one use only and like paper. Didn't dry very well.

The room can get a bit cold but they provide an extra blanket.
The location was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was polite and very helpful. Many thanks to Min who helped us by giving us many tips and informed us very well…. We even got an upgrade for our room! We were able to store pur luggage at the reception after checking out. The hotel is close to the train station and a lot of restaurants.

The bed didn't look like it had been changed, hairs and an eyelash under the duvet cover. Room could have done with a curtain as it was a little bright at night even though the window was small. Water dispenser only had boiling or hot water no cold. However, there was a fridge in the hallway. Shower head broken, not enough toilet paper considering it was a shared bathroom. Very misleading on the ad in terms of whether you could use a card or not. It ended up being cash only even though booking.com said card and cash accepted.
Excellent location, lots of food options in walking distance. Close to the train station and bus stops. Could store your luggage if you went during staffed hours. Make sure you check these as we arrived 20 minutes late so couldn't drop our bags as it's not staffed all day.

Air circulation is poor, in our 2 days stay we have to open window to let out the damp smell. The room is quite basic, nothing to impress compared to the reception area
The location is perfect, right in heart of the city. Though the hotel itself located at small alley - 711, family mart, self service laundry all within walking distance. The room is small, bed also small but comfy. The staff is very kind to upgrade our room to the one with attached bathroom.

Staff extremely UNFRIENDLY, room run down with no hanger, no bath mat.. really just a room with bed, TV was so pathetic!
Only plus point is the location as it's located in the hub of eateries and food stalls

The rooms aren't very clean, bathrooms are.. uhhh.. Yeah, the Wi-Fi was essentially unusable.
This is my second time staying here because I love the location and overall when looking at the Taipei area it has a lower price than average. Not so sure. I would say it's a great value but it does cost less than most places around Taipei.

The bed was a little dusty
Helpful staff. Provide alternative if unable to check in on time. The room is comfy despite the room is small. Well equipped with hairdryer and dehumidifier. Good security, only those with the card can enter the common area.

The room was incredibly stuffy and smelled like smoke although it was a non smoking room. The bathroom situation was also interesting with basically a shower cabin with some wallpaper on the outside and all facilities within the shower cabin inside the room.
5min walk from the train station. 2min walk from the food court. Water filter available for hot and cold water
