Clean, comfortable and the host could not have been more helpful - she was super friendly and warm, and happy to provide anything necessary. The Homestay is a five minute walk to the Jiufen Old Street, but far enough away to be quiet and uncrowded. The room was spotless, and very comfortable, and the view was spectacular! Breakfast was also a nice addition! Easily accessible by public transport for getting there, or exploring the area. All in all, we absolutely cannot fault this charming little place. Oh, and the shower was fabulous!

The location is 30 seconds away from a bus stop. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The room had a nice Japanese style toilet. The host didn't speak much English, but was very friendly and quick to use translation apps.

We had a wonderful stay in Jiufen. The accommodation is perfectly located, only a few minutes away from the old street!

Just the long steep stairs at the entrance, which it was bound to be as the house/flat was built on the mountains. A suggestion will be to put a note at the introduction of this accommodation at the website.

The management of the accommodation was good, the manager waited us to arrive. Moreover, it gives me a homey feel, with refillable drinks and snacks. Friendly staff. The view at the 星空 room is facing half the mountain and half seaview. There is also a lovely balance where I spent my breakfast. Worth the steep walk up the stairs.

Only serve with tea & sandwiches. Better if can choose coffee or tea, make ourselve as I like it real hot. Room size is very small, we have to put our luggages on bed not even on floor.

Lady owner is very helpful & given us lots of suggestions & recommendations. Cosy place but is very near to the main bus stop & both entrance to Juifen old streets. Easy to find as along the main road.

The room has a small window at top of the room for simple ventilation and it faced the houses of opposite side. It is like the floor of the road on your top of your room. It is still acceptable for short stay. No big deal if you choose to off it. Maybe because we are staying at 2 people room without view.

If you are with family, elders or have a lot of luggage, and come with bus. This place is where you should stay. It is located beside the police station, where the 965 bus can stop by. The stairs to Jiu Fen Old Street are just 3 min away. Very convenient. It is nearby

The signage of hotel not obvious when walking uphill from bus station especially at night. Unit number should be be lighted. Other homestay's name mislead us...so we couldn't find it easily.

Room is clean and spacious . Bed is firm and comfortable. Location is close to bus stop for bus back to Taipei. The balcony provides a good view of the mountains

The room seemed much smaller in real life, with barely any windows (just a tiny one high up). It got extremely humid at night. In the morning, the entire floor was wet. Make sure to set the air conditioning to 'dehumidify'!

The woman who runs the B&B is very kind and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable (although her English is limited). The location is beautiful. Even though Jiufen is very touristy and crowded, you don’t notice any of that at the B&B’s location. The breakfast is delicious and the view is stunning. The room has good facilities and everything is very clean!

The room described as the room with city view. In reality it had no window, just little opening under the ceiling, which was locked. So, no window, no daylight, no fresh air.
