Everything. The kindness and generosity of the hosts, that welcomed us in a special way; the room, that was beautiful, big, and very clean; the view of the fields and the position, strategically positioned between the sun moon lake and the Alishan park.

The guesthouse is very new, beautifully built and in an amazing location with the best views. The staff was lovely and very helpful. When we arrived we were welcomed with a tasting of the plum wines produced by the property which was a really nice touch. The provided Taiwanese breakfast was plentiful and extensive

Beautiful, luxury room, incredibly comfortable bed and linens.

We loved the size, cleanliness of the rooms and most of all, the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They went out of their way to let us use the washing machine, prepared extra pudding for my child and were just very welcoming. We loved the view from one of the rooms, even though fog covered the mountains for most of our trip. The breakfast was delicious and very nutritious too! Oh and please try the plum wine and dinner - excellent stuff

The road leading to accommodation is quite narrow so please be careful driving in

Extraordinarily well-run family business, generous with their plum wine. Newly built rooms with exquisite bathrooms.

The good rating is well deserved. Beautiful location, with hiking options nearby. The house is new, rooms (very) spatious, clean, beautiful wooden floors and furniture, great bathroom. During our stay, there was still some work underway around the house, so we can only imagine how this place will look like in the future. Ca. 100m down the road from the accommodation is the family-run plum winery itself, where you can sample (and buy to take home) some great local products. This is where the A+ breakfast is served. The hosts were friendly, very attentive and the kind of people you can really have a talk with. We would like to thank the whole family for our amazing stay. We have stayed in many accommodations during our trip, but this was certainly our favourite. We sadly planned only one night here, but will definitely be returning when we come back to Taiwan.

The stay was incredible. The family runs this place and their plum winery by themselves. The guesthouse is new and was built by their own hands with the highest quality and standards - everything still smells like Hinoki Wood. Also, we could try the vines they produce and the bread they bake - my wife and I really enjoyed both, but especially the evening and the story around it. The tranquility this place brings is heartwarming and we would always come back, if we travel to Taiwan again.

An amazing and surprising experience! The guesthouse itself is beautiful and brand new - the place was built by the family and very well thought out. Even better was the plum wine - the best we've ever had. We found the place by chance, and saw that there were very few ratings but it turns out that it was because they just opened the guesthouse a couple of weeks earlier. The winery has been there for decades and the history of the place is super interesting.

Wu Yi-Ching and her family have a wonderful guesthouse in Shuili. We were welcomed with delicious bread, plum wine and plum juice and had a great breakfast in the morning from the Vietnamese cook. They also have the option to order food from that cook in the evening which we greatly enjoyed. We learned a lot about the variety of products that are created by the family, including many plum products, coffee and bread. We also had the chance to learn more about the local culture and people which we valued immensely. The rooms are very modern and well equipped and offer a great view of the valley and the mountains in the background. We really enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the entire family and hope to come back in the future!
