Reviews of Rich & Free Hotel - Fuzhong 富逸旅趣-板橋府中館 3 stars

Staff answered questions fully and promptly fixed the coffee machine when it was broken. They even delivered the coffee to my room. The room is comfortable, clean and pleasant. The hotel is very close to MRT Fuzhong and main sites in the Taipei area. The lounge area has tea, coffee and some light snacks. High CP value.

The hotel pictures did not show that the ground floor area is a bit sketchy. When you are looking at google maps, the hotel is not clearly seen, but it is on the 12th and 13th floors of a commercial office building. The carpet was very old and unpleasant. Wifi for my room was not working at all and the staff suggested I use another room's wifi (all rooms have the same password, which is unsafe). The next door's wifi was only working 40% of the time. The lounge wifi was working well but people tended to be loud and smelly, with people sitting and eating there even late at night. If you stand next to someone's door, you can hear everything they are saying. The view from the room was pretty bad, as you could only see the inner compound between the old building the hotel was in and the adjacent and old residential buildings.

the WiFi in my room was bad; but connecting to the one in the neighboring room was fine. The TV remote seemed to have low battery... most of the time no reaction pressing buttons.
