Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The property is in a great location. It’s a short walk to the metro so everything is easily accessible. I didn’t meet any of the staff during my stay but the communication via WhatsApp was very efficient. The contactless check in was seamless and all instructions were clear.

It was definitely a value for money stay. I shouldn't expect 4-5 star facilities.
Location! Prompt answers and help from the owner. Free water. Air-conditioned Humid controlled room. Window.

The screen in the bathroom window was covered with dust and lint, which prevented air flow through the window. Also, the shower head holder was cracked and wobbly.
I found the contactless check-in process easy, the owners responded quickly to emails, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the MRT red line conveniently located a few blocks away, a cute small park next door, the neighborhood was very quiet at night, a great breakfast cafe nearby that serves Chinese pancakes and the generous unique snacks and drinks for the guests were tasty. I would return again.

Our room seemingly was freshly painted and therefore the smell was horrendous. We also felt cold and did not understand how to turn on the heater. Lastly, the shower courtain did not cover the toilet, which I think could have been easily fixed
Great location, free snacks and smart rooms. The shower pressure was amazing ! Bed was also very comfortable.

The bathroom is really small and not thoroughly cleaned.
Location was really close to taipei main station and many places to eat near. Area was very nice even at very late times at night.

A little messy taking shower. No elevator, maybe tricky if you have heavy luggage.
Pretty good location, easy access to transportation. Snack and drink supplies, though have to walk down to basement!

It is a nice experience to be hosted in this hotel. The environment is quite nice and free snacks provided. There is small park opposite the hotel, where you may see some lovely cats and puppies. Location is perfect for a traveler. You may access to MRT by a five-minute walk. Thanks and strongly recommended.

It is crazy having the Air conditioner pointing to the bed. Tip: block the air flow with a pillow. Not having a small chair with table makes really complicated to make something in the room beyond sleeping.
It is a nice a detail to have snacks and tea in the cellar.
