The toilet is a bit tight. But it works ok. We also wished there are more hangers instead of four provided in the wardrobe. But the need is met with more hangers provided upon request.

It is an interesting hotel. Its a refurbished hotel where the bare structure remains and retrofitted with new amenities and finished in a raw aesthetic brutalist themed design. A rustic landscaping within the internal courtyard lands a unique vibe to the overall ambience. The rooms carried the same theme. Notwithstanding its unusual design language, it is livable and comfortable. The staff at the concierge are very nice and helpful and responded to our concern on an issue instantaneously. The bed is comfortable. There are complimentary Youtube and Netflix channels. The internet wifi is strong. We also liked the complimentary coffee and tea very much. There is quality.

We were asked at what time we wanted our room to be tidied, which we confirmed for 11AM when we were sure we would be out exploring. However, by the time we got back around 4PM and were super tired and just wanted to take a nap, we found the room not cleaned yet. We decided to turn on the ‘Do Not Disturb’-sign for some quiet time but were woken up by a call from the reception, and someone knocking on our door to ask if we wanted cleaning. Not all front office staff was as well equipped with hosting English speaking guests.

We liked the design of this hotel. Felt like coming home to a quiet oasis after exploring the city all day. Bathroom is split in a separate shower and toilet and are both very spacious. Bed is super comfy too!

It felt as if design took more of a priority than function. The normal rooms were simply too small, without even a wardrobe - there were just hangers on a standing clothes rack. Perhaps they could consider offering coin operated washer and dryers for guest use. And the staff were really quite off-putting with none of the hospitality that you come to expect from Taiwanese. I had a room change because the room type I wanted wasn’t available for the entire duration of my stay. With other hotels, all I needed to do was to pack up my luggage and they would transfer them over to the new room, but no, I had to wheel it down like I was going to check out at 11am the next day. Reason cited was about security which really made no sense.

The sound proofing is concerning, the uneven floorings can be dangerous for elderly.

I got 2 rooms and one is a decent size, another is uncomfortably small... I am quite surprised by how small it is.

It is a really artsy and special hotel, I also really enjoy the smell there.

Not so clean and pretty loud. Rooms was made too cheap. Location is pretty central but they are a lot of hookers and bums nerby.

there isn't a kettle in the room, but they do have a water dispenser in the common area. thankfully my room was right beside the dispenser. i can't imagine how troublesome it would be for someone whose room is far from the dispenser.

Abit distance from sourcing for food, but not too bad. The down side is that not able to hv early check-in, and 1 of the staff are rude, very rude during my arrival to check-in, she serve no respect and answer my simple question with very bad manner.

Both the public space & room are good, clean, comfortable and good for photo.

I wouldn't book the breakfast again. It wasn't served in a communal area. Instead guests were asked to choose between two types of sandwiches and one of three delivery times. In the morning a bag with the food was simply put in front of the room. That meant very little flexibility and I had to skip breakfast twice because of my schedule.

The hotel is just as stylish as the photos suggest, very clean and in a very convenient location. The staff is very friendly. There are water fountains on every floor and free tea bags near the reception. I would definitely book again.

We didn’t really like the surrounding as most are bars and night club, it is not noisy, just found abit dangerous walking by, but during the day is okay.

We like the design of the hotel. The stuffs are friendly, the room was clean. Nearby can found convenient shops and park and it is walking distance to 一中街

We were there during the recent earthquake. took the emergency stairs down after the tremors stopped but at the group floor, there were several laundry baskets blocking the exit.

Staff were nice and helpful. Pretty eco friendly hotel.

I guess if you don’t like industrial raw and unpolished look. You’ll hate it. Price is higher. You pay for architecture

Comfortable beds and interesting neighbourhood. Design of bathroom is not practical though - entire floor becomes especially wet and cold in winter as the shower/toilet bowl area with no shower screen. Self-service laundrette available a turn and street away
