Full of personality, situated out of main township with a terrace overlooking the rice fields and surrounding hills. Coffee shop and many bike rental shops nearby. And very close to the cycling paths. Sara is very friendly and helpful and makes good use of Google translate to communicate with non-Chinese speakers like me. She encouraged me to contact her during my stay through whatsapp, with any questions and she had helpful recommendations for places to eat, etc. One of the bike rental places nearby offered overnight rental and I was able to return bike to the train station.

It was a bit tricky to get there from the train station. A station staff member called a taxi for me. If you don't have much luggage and only staying one night, you could rent a bike to get there and back but not sure if they would rent for longer. Easy if you are driving. I hoped there would be a microwave to heat up a meal. Lucky I took instant noodles as well.

The host - very friendly, helpful.; the location. Beautiful view of the mountains in the distance and rice fields. Very nice ride back from town. Thought the bike trail was very dark and deserted at night, I felt very safe riding my bike back from town after dinner. It was magical.

It turned out fine for me. I had rented a bike to ride the rice paddies and I used the bike to go back and forth to town primarily for dinner.

An excellent stop to visit Mr. Brown’s boulevard. Very unique rooms. We had to cycle 4km to town to eat. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly.

Lovely location across from the rice fields. Delicious bento box breakfast arrived in the morning. Very funky vibe to the place.

Noisy old cat was a little annoying. Parking was a little unclear but worked out in the end. It was a little bit of a challenge using self check in but once someone showed up it was fine.

The location was lovely, close to many attractions and restaurants but also quiet and in nature.

The property manager was always available to respond to our needs, give recommendations, book appointments and make reservations - while negotiating affordable rates - for our trip. She would respond quickly to our inquiries via Line.

Charming hotel, nicely decorated. The kids appreciated the few toys and the cat. The room was huge and very clean.

Staff was not on site and only reachable per Whatsapp. They did not speak English. Location was also underwhelming, too isolated, so that we had to take a cab to have dinner. Considering that you can rent bikes everywhere, I'd rather recommend a hotel in town if you are not purposely looking for isolation.

The accommodation was homely and near to the brown avenue. We enjoyed the stay and there is hot air from aircon in room keeping us warm.

    None.

The owner of the place was great. The place is excellent; the design of the place and room is exceptional, I can see that they put a lot of thought into it.

-View of rice paddy fields and east access to tourist sites.

-site states breakfast is offered but when we enquired about this at check-in we were advised this was no longer available. - Staff not present much so we had difficulties asking information about the area and getting into town for food in the evening. - Room not cleaned, previous occupants towel left in room and previous occupants toothpaste splashed on mirror. -

    Nice location.

Though it's called a bnb, there is no breakfast. We didn't have towels in our room, which felt a big surprising for something billed as a 3 star hotel. I had also selected a specific room trying to avoid our toddler trying to climb the ladder to the loft, yet we were given a room with a ladder and loft area anyway. There was no one to speak to at any point in check-in or check out process, which was very impersonal and made it harder to rectify issues like the no towels and being given the wrong room. Overall it was fine for a night, but it didn't feel like good value for money and I wouldn't recommend to others.

For a start, this is not a B&B as there is no breakfast served. In fact, they even want you to pay for coffee (not fancy lattes either, just the normal stuff). While we enjoyed our quirky, spacious family room, overall at the price and given the marketing photos, I was underwhelmed. Looks like its set in a green field but actually is along a main road. Service was average (upon making an enquiry I was basically told to Google it myself). Were I returning to the area I’d book HowHas instead, which I ran past hence can confirm really is in a field.

We originally booked a double room and was upgraded for free to the family room which was much bigger! The overall aesthetic is so cute! We arrived late, and was able to do self check-in. Super cute cat. The location is perfect, so serene and quiet, with the view of the rice paddies and mountains right there. Free parking as well! Highly recommend and worth the price!

Be aware of mosquitoes! (not in the room though, just outside)

Loved the decorating and comfortable rooms.

Pros and cons to the location- very close to Brown Ave, great views of rice paddies but had to drive to get food.
