We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaI couldn’t believe the owners didn’t change the sheets before my arrival. The sheets smelled like someone else’s sweat. Also there have been problems with water supply, so 3/4 showers I had to take using kettle and bucket. Also the wifi is rather slow and goes off most of the time. I would say the property has potential, but you need to change the attitude from careless to paying attention to details.
Just heads up — this is a secluded room with a private bathroom inside someone’s apartment. It’s located centrally, close to the ferry and bus departures. The bed was big and comfortable with nice blankets. The AC is great.

GermanyIt was just nightmare, I don't know why I booked that crappie appointment. They sold my room and they didn't let me know until I was at the place, even though I was already paid. They didn't give the full amount of my money for what I paid. I like nothing from that place.

United StatesAfter traveling to over 40 countries I have never written a bad review. This accommodation, however, was so problematic that I will break my streak. I had an important video interview, needed a reliable room with good amenities and wifi and booked this room because of the advertised “very fast internet”. I was thoroughly disappointed given that not even the most basic amenities were present, the host was not always responsive and made false promises. When the lack of running water, electricity and wifi for hours forced us to switch hotels thirty minutes before my interview, she did not consider giving us a refund, stopped responding to our messages, and even deleted her previous messages to hide her tracks. This is deceptive business and is not ok under any circumstances. - Rocky Arrival: We texted and called in advance before arriving to double check everything would be ready. The location was confusing to find and we asked if the host could meet us outside so we could find it and she said yes. When we arrived, we spent about 30 minutes looking for her and the place since the actual address online is inaccurate, asked a bunch of strangers on the street, and she eventually picked up the phone and gave us directions. Room wasn’t ready. Staff started putting sheets on the bed once we got there, and then moved us to a different room. Took us probably an hour between arriving and when we finally got access to our room. - No running water: When we arrived at noon there was no running water. We couldn’t wash hands or shower, which we planned to do, but no worries. We were told the water was “coming”. We waited patiently until about 8pm. There still was no water, and no explanation as to what was happening or a time when it would be back. When we asked, the host kept telling us “it is coming”. - No electricity: While other units in the same building had electricity, this specific apartment had a power outage.

United KingdomI booked this place twice, first time 6 months ago, staff was excellent, very caring, very responsive and very helpful. 2nd booking, the management staff was totally the opposite (I don't know why, maybe they had new management who just didn't care). On my 2nd booking the management cancelled my booking just 8 hours before I arrived and offered me another apartment at a totally different location, no reason given, no apology given, not details about the new apartment or photos, just a simple whatsapp message saying "Check-in at this new location instead". This was at midnight before the morning I was supposed to arrive. I sent several messages back to the management asking for clarification, I got replies several hours later simply saying "the place you booked is no longer available", again no proper explanation for the change, no apology, not even a sense of understanding the hardship they caused to their guest. I sent other messages asking for clarification and several hours later came a brief message saying "Sorry for the inconvenience, we are doing refurbishment at the apartment you booked". A refurbishment only started on the midnight before I arrived??? and a clarification and apology that only arrived 2 hours before check-in time and only after several messages from me!!! .. This new management is absolutely clueless about customer care and totally un-caring. Bring back the excellent old management staff please.
Excellent location close to Kariakor market, just a short walk away from one of the biggest markets in Africa. The apartment is always kept clean, kitchen is well equipped with appliances. There are balconies all around the apartment so you're never short of fresh air or good sunshine. The booking here is for a room with a private ensuite bathroom, kitchen and living room areas are shared. Good size bathroom, good water pressure in shower and nice hot water. Good size bedroom with a comfortable bed and a strong air-conditioning unit. There's also a desk in the bedroom to do some work on laptop etc.
