Constructive crticism: All the faucets in the property release salt water for use and has a distinct rusty odour to it (Probably from the well it is stored in). So even after shower it feels like you have salt all over your body. Brushing the teeth becomes a problem and taking a shower with cuts and bruises if you have hiked before will be another problem. The water gets clogged in the bathroom after shower. Only the toilet needs some maintenance and proper drainage. Otherwise the room is cosy and spacious. Another issue i faced is not having window panes in any of the rooms. The outside voices might disturb you in the morning while sleeping. I was traveling solo. But the guest just right infornt of my room were a couple. Everyone in the property could hear all kinds of voices from their room. So if you are a couple on your honeymoon and need some privacy please avoid.

Loved the proximity of the property from the beach and other useful places. The property is spacious and have lots of trees and dedicated small sofa and table outside the room to relax and listen to birda chirping all day. Breakfast is filling and has variety to choose from. Staff is friendly especially the ladies who clean the rooms regularly. They are super hospitable and makes the room like new. I liked majority of the things in the property. They also provide drinking water.

The bathroom was not so nice, the bathroom door was broken, we said it two times but they don’t repaired it.

The staff is kind, it is near to the beach and to all the shops. We had every day a cleaning, every second day new towels and new bedsheets.

The doors, the shower cabin and the cabinets were a little worn out.

The atmosphere really tropical and the yard was so authentic for Zanzibar. The staff were really nice and relaxed as well as helpful. The cleanliness was 10 out of 10, everyday cleaned room, fresh towels and there was mosquito spray in the room to help the mosquito nets on the windows.

the roads are dirt with potholes and the passage is not very easy especially if it rains because they become muddy. Though , this is all over Nungwi area.

The hotel is located 5’ on foot far from the beach.Also , the staff helped us immediately to arrange a pick up taxi to the hotel even we requested it last minute. The breakfast was really nice.It is served and it consists of a fruit platter and you can choose eggs or the local donuts. The room was super clean and it had also a sofa outside in a shared big balcony.

Good value for money. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nungwi. The beach is not so far from hotel. The road takes 5-7 minutes. There are many cafes for lunch around the hotel. I attended yoga classes at nearby hotel. Without doubt Zanzibar is one of the beautiful places I have ever been. Go to the beach and enjoy the vibe. Do not spend time on being in the hotel)). The Wi-Fi just comes and goes

This has been by far our favorite spot in Zanzibar (out of 7). It is very peaceful, with a lovely area and garden. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly at all times. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed the company of the two cats who live there throughout our stay. The location is central and close to the sea, about 3 minutes away. Without a doubt we recommend this place!

The showers are salt water and sometimes without hot. The laundry service was cheap but again the water ruined some of our clothes.

Great location if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Nungwi and the staff were lovely!

1. Salt water in both the tap and the shower! Never seen this before and it was a terrible experience (2. not even a bottled water provided to wash you teeth) 3. Only one body towel was provided for two guests, and it had a really unpleasant smell, leaving you feeling less clean after a shower. No hand towels were provided. 4. The reception person was never at the reception - when I checked in, a lady let me in saying her boss was minutes away - I never got to see them since I aimed to leave for an 8am excursion, at which time, the reception person had not arrived and I had to wait for them to arrive, the lady was very unfriendly. I would definitely avoid staying here again for this price, I really hope this review helps management change this as it’s a competing price for the zone, good location but highly over priced and the above should not be acceptable at any price point.

I chose this place for its convenient location and competitive price in the area. The location was good - if you have an organised day trip or excursion, most depart from Mama Mia, which is just a short walk away.
