The bathroom needed some work. Towels were a little thin and looked very used. Better cleaning in the bathroom.

It is quite noisy in the early morning because of its proximity to the airport.

The staff, food and location was the best. Clean and spacious room with Aircon and fridge. Great WiFi connection too. It's 3 minutes to the airport. You catch transport Infront of the door of the hotel.

We were able to arrive late in the evening and to get something to eat and drink before going to bed. The hotel was rather easy to find after renting a car at the airport.

Location to airport was great. Walkable if required, taxi cost was high though. Great food and drinks, quiet rooms and comfy beds. Great price. Staff were fantastic.

This is really good option if u arrive with late flight to the island and dont want to push right away to the other site in the night. Pretty good breakfast and helpful staff. Fixed price for the taxi from airport to the hotel - 10$. Very close from the airport.

Perfect location if one has to go to the airport quickly and/or repeatedly, for example to rest and take a shower when there is a flight delay or cancellation. Staff very friendly, food is ok and uncomplicated.

Due to an early flight, we tried going to sleep early and it was quite noisy.

Stayed for a single night due to an early flight the following morning. For a single night and the price, the stay was perfect. Reaching the airport was an around 20-25 minutes walk.

On our arrival, we faced misscommunication regarding check-in timing: instead of 30-40 minutes (as told by receptionist), it was 1,5 hours. In the middle of this time we were told it's gonna be 5 more minutes only, to wait for another 40... If we knew, we would go to enjoy Stone Town instead of walking around the hotel & waiting at the reception.

They use an insect spray with a very strong aroma. Benefit there were no insects in the room.

Conveniently close to the airport. We used the hotel for our evening flight, mainly as a place to drop off our luggage during the day, while visiting Stone Town, and have a shower before our flight. The street is busy but when you walk in it is like a green oasis. The restaurant serves a good pizza 24/7. They had a deal on 2 for 1 on Friday.

A little run down, needs some uplift me. Also needs a bit more things to do while at the place. Rooms are a bit too basic, can do with a little warmth and face lift. Beds can also be more comfy & food a little more spread. Otherwise, for convenience to and from airport, this is the one and the price is just right...

Convenience from the airport to this hotel esp at late arrival & early departure, is the winner. We landed late and were picked up by Abdul Kareem, a young, but really lovely guy who waited for us even though our flight was delayed by a whooping 6hrs. He not only waited till midnight for our arrival, but he communicated with us via WhatsApp to keep us posted of his whereabouts as this was our very first visit to Zanzibar & arriving this late was a bit worrying, but he put us to ease & took us to the hotel safely. We ended up using him for all our island travels and back to airport again. A real trusted gem from Popo Tours & Safaris in Zanzibar....
