Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocation, scenery & staff.
We couldn't fault anything, everything was brilliant. The GM did everything that he could do possible for us & looked after us as it was our wedding anniversary. It's a quiet resort. The scenery was brilliant & beautiful. It was the right location for us & we were really happy there & had a good time. We had a brilliant send off on our last day with all the staff..

MyanmarFirst expression started with staff’s welcoming. The location is superb. There was a rainy day during my stay but i love a unique vibe from the restaurant view. As it is in eastern part of Zanzibar, my very first seeing of Dawn view from the Indian Ocean. I want to come back again. Ciao!

United KingdomRooms need some modernisation/renovation. They did not give us Ocean view room as they said Booking.com and their booking system had miscommunicated & overbooked. However they did upgrade us to all inclusive as compensation but not very satisfactory as we had booked 4 months in advance.
Stunning views from the hotel. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel made sure that Xmas Eve and Xmas day were special. The large infinity swimming pool was a bonus as swimming in the sea is very dependent on the tides and the coral reef

SpainHotel is overall lacking maintenance. It might have been a 5* hotel 10 years ago, but it is not the case anymore. Food is correct, with a few deceptions. We stayed there 3 nights, but for a longer stay it might get deceiving.
Incredible settings (2 beaches, very big pool) Quiet and close to nature, very retired. Friendly staff, doing its best to cope with situations and ensuring customer satisfaction

United KingdomThe electric kept on tripping out so we kept on waking up sweating. The drinks were served out of warm classes, there was no diet option for drinks. The staff were friendly though, I would definitely say this isn’t a 5* hotel at all. I am currently staying in beach Kendwa by the same chain and this hotel is superior in every way.

Kenya1. No Wifi in the rooms 2. Electricity kept going and coming which meant AC in room couldnt work and also there was NO water in the room 3. When we did have water in the room, the shower didn’t work and the water was so so hot that it almost scalded my 2 year old. 4. Not a wide variety of foods compared to other hotels I have been at. 5. We were on all-inclusive plan and they billed me $10 for 2 packets of milk for my kids until I actually told them that was so petty. 6. Fan in the room looks loose and when fan is rotating, it looks like it will fall off. 7. It rained and water came into the room!

United KingdomThe variety and quality of food. After a week, I was certainly tired of the food. Breakfast was literally the same things everyday and was often cold, even though we got there at the start of breakfast times on most days. I personally do not like cats near me when I eat and, sadly, there were two or three cats regularly around us at meal times. I do think that the staff try their best but the overall feeling is of a place that is tired and trying to scrape by?!
This is a place that I have visited twice, the first time 4 years ago and now, recently. The location is beautiful, with cool breezes and a private, hassle free beach, due to the high tides which effectively cut the place off from other nearby areas. The fresh pasta station at meal times is really nice for those who like fresh and hot food.

AustraliaThe air conditioning wasn’t great so the rooms were often hotter inside than out. If you are wanting to explore the island it isn’t the best spot to stay as you have to travel quite far in the car to get everywhere.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the food was amazing with always a lot of variety at all meals. Our rooms got cleaned everyday and they helps us organising activities.

United KingdomThe cocktails were standard (the ones we had anyway) strong but not much flavour to them.
When booking the pictures gave us really high expectations and the hotel exceeded them expectations. The view from our room was amazing- the resort itself was gorgeous and had the most amazing view from the massage area of the sunset! Staff went above and beyond to help and were so friendly with my 1 year old it was like visiting family rather than guests in a hotel.

FranceThe restaurant quality was very good, however not many choices in the menu for lunch. The dinner is normally a buffet and there is nothing else, so you are 'forced' to eat the buffet as no other options are available and 20 dollars per person is very expensive. There are no other restaurants or markets around, so you'll most probably always stay in the hotel and forced to eat there since no other options available. The staffs are very nice but some of them will be after you to buy things with them like massages and spas (which are also very expensive), and they don't get it when you say NO for a first time. It can be very annoying.
The overall was good and the location was awesome. The view was incredible. This is a very good location for people who wants to be away from crowds and just want a peaceful and relaxing stay.
