There was a guest who was a content creator who traveled around the world sleeping in different hotels, making content who was drunk and making noise, which made it difficult to sleep. When Maria tries to engage him to be calm, he was disrespectful, rude, and even uses an F word referring to other guests complaining of the noise.

Maria, the host is such a nice lady and people's person. She is accomodative to all her guests. She serves her customers with such a beautiful smile. I think instead of dealing with cash for payments, they can also allow for a card payment as withdrawing money from the ATM,charges are so exorbitant.

The fact that the host allows smoking in the premises. Not everyone condones smoking.

The host is friendly and very accommodating. She even offered to give us a discount! She was very understanding and helpful. The wifi was very strong and good. The place is also very quiet and peaceful.

excellent location: once one knows where the mall is, the beach is just next !!! many local food available. once one discovers the way the transport work, one can room across the city at one's heart content!

Some guests thought the fan was a bit loud. Maybe it would be good to have a sign outside? Although it is very clearly number 8 on the road.

We arrived in Dar Es Salaam super late (at 2am) on a heavily delayed Tazara train from Zambia (took 81 hours instead of 44 - a story for another time!). We were really nervous about arriving so late and whether the hostel would still be open. When we arrived we knocked and the door was opened by the most welcoming staff member (unfortunately I forgot their name) who very kindly dealt with our shattered nerves and showed us to a wonderful room for us to get a decent shower and a great night’s sleep before heading off to get the ferry in the morning. Could not recommend more.

It’s in the middle of an industrial area. Apparently there is a restaurant nearby but one isn’t too motivated to go stumbling in the dark roads to find it after an 11 hour bus ride. Lot of mosquitoes in outdoor area. No net on bed but definitely mosquito in room.

Basic but very clean / well kept. Basic but fine egg, toast, fruit, coffee breakfast. Good outdoor seating / social area.

A bit far out from main city centre, the location in Google Maps is correct but there is no signs so it was a bit difficult to find. Would recommend addings signs so the hotel can be found more easily! Also it was difficult to sleep because of mosquitos, mosquito nets would greatly improve comfort.

I enjoyed my stay here, for the price of the room it is a good option. Maria was an excellent host, she helped me with booking buses and was very flexible and accommodating.

The hotels need improvement , old kitchen cooking pots, etc . Mosquitoes at night and a lot of houseflies during the day. Bathroom doors left open on the daily bases.

The location was in the city, around the city mall and restaurants, easy access to the road .

I was sexually harassed by a man brought back from a guest. HE urinated in front of me and asked, "Are you Japanese? when I hang my wet clothes at yard" In my three years traveling around 25 countries, this was the first time my bicycle had been smashed in a hotel. I'm sure it wasn't self-inflicted, as I carefully checked the condition of my bicycle half an hour before leaving. Concerned about my safety, I left at 4 PM the next day and received no refund for the room I'd paid that day. I complained to Booking.com, but they didn't respond. I don't accept the host's excuses. It happened, and I have no motive to frame this hotel. This is the first bad hotel I've encountered in my three years traveling around the world. The above is just a reminder to future travelers, especially female travelers. After all, when traveling, your financial and personal safety is your responsibility to your family
