Dear guest, thank you for your review. Please allow us though to clarify some points: 1. Upon you arrival, even before checking in, you requested to cancel your reservation starting from the 2nd night because you realised the place was apparently to far from your meeting venue. Please let us point out that our location and proximity to services is very well described on the web and even your meeting location is only 10min away by car. Although we were exceptionally willing to cancel your reservation, in the end you decided to stay for the entire period…We therefore assume our home and location was not that bad …. 2. Each of our rooms is very well described in detail and with pictures on the web, in the room you booked there is an open wardrobe and no office table. Our staff showed you the room corresponding to the pictures you were showing them and also offered you to change your reservation to that room which was available during your stay; for some reason you declined it. We generally noted that nothing seemed to meet your needs ranging from unwillingness to pay the taxi driver upon arrival up to all breakfast options. We advise you in future to read carefully the accomodation offerings you book to avoid unnecessary unpleasant situations both for you and for your host. Best regards the Ewange Team

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. Please allow us some comments about it: Our B&B is deliberately located outside the hustle and bustle of Kampala, on the tranquil hill of Buziga, overlooking the lake in a quiet relaxing setting away from the confusion and noise of Kampala. The position is very well described on our web page as well as on all booking sites including the one you used. Some taxi drivers do not know the place, we therefore always send our customers a message asking them to contact us beforehand to get precise indications on how to get there. Unfortunately you never replied to our message neither did you contact us for indications. Regarding breakfast you can read in the guest review summary that our a la carte breakfast proposals regularly receive very positive appraisals for its variety and quality. We are therefore very surprised to see your negative comments. Every day we ask our guests to select one type of breakfast from the different proposals on the menu. We believe the problem was on the first day of your arrival when you chose two breakfast proposals for each of you while on the second day you asked to taste and share a “Rolex” and the caretaker therefore prepared only one rather than two separate ones. We are normally very flexible and could easily have accommodated your preference had you made it clear enough to the caretaker. Our menu is international as well as local and we are again very surprised you had never tasted a “Rolex” (rolled eggs) among the wonderful food you experienced during your holiday, as this is a very common and typical dish for Ugandans. We regret that we could not meet all your expectations but are happy to understand you appreciated the beauty of Uganda. Greetings from Ewange

Our position is on a hill and, as shown clearly in the map, outside the hustle and bustle of Kampala, this makes it possible for our guests to enjoy the tranquillity of the place and the stunning view from the balcony. Reg. flexibility we hope you understand that for a small business like ours every cancellation, especially with such a short notice, has a big impact. It is for this reason that our terms and conditions allow a penalty free cancellation up to 7 days before.
