Even at the discounted rate of 25 US$ the room was pretty simple (for example no aircon, which was fine, but only a very rickety fan), though it seems that prices in Entebbe are generally high for Uganda.
The main reason why I booked Hendo Hotel was that I arrived late and they included an airport pickup in the price. So the main reason why I give the hotel a top rating is that the pickup arrangement worked out impressively well with extremely short notice. The hotel looked quite new or at least very well maintained, and staff were very welcoming. A good breakfast was included.

The staff and the driver were extraordinaire: very kind and welcoming. They made me fully enjoy my stay. I will certainly come again. I also enjoy being able to use my Amex card for all my payments in the hotel.

I spent few hours in the hotel, but I'd like to say that it was comfortable. Staff was really educated. They have shuttle from/to airport that was really closed.

I liked the location, just in Kitoro, not busy but not rural like much of Entebbe; the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very warm and friendly which isn't always the case in Uganda. Good value for Entebbe. Very good breakfast.

We were even licked from inside for a couple of minutes, waiting for the staff member to wake up. The cook arrived at the same time, 20 min late.
