Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe resort is a peaceful oasis from the rush of the city. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable and of a high quality. The breakfast area and the pool space were calm, relaxing and a great place to unwind. The breakfasts were good with lots of fresh fruit and fresh juices, good coffee and options for hot food which I did not use. The location of the resort means that it is easy to get to most places in Kampalal and also from Entenne airport. Lots of great restaurants and things to do nearby.

Hong KongNo so much I didn’t like but the speed of meal prep could be faster at times. Huge portions.
It has a quiet, understated ambience - the upper deck is a refuge from the chaos outside!

UgandaThe food menu was limited and the rooms could use: a smart tv and, nets behind the curtains to provide privacy when the curtains are opened
The staff (Gracious and Co.) and the location were great. The room was spacious and the lounge above the restaurant is a good space to read a book or catch-up with emails.

GermanyI find the breakfast a bit pricey, though innovative (e. g. avocado) there could be a degree of flexibility of combination.
I have been staying here repeatedly. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy the pool, the ambience (quiet, with a nice look over the valley) and it is very centrally located.

South AfricaWater pressure in the area does vary a bit. Not sure that the venue can control that. Wifi was OK but a bit slow at times.
An oasis of tranquility yet centrally located. Food very good (breakfast and dinner).

United KingdomUnfortunately some of the amenities are basic. The gym is fit for purpose but the swimming pool is unusable. The water looked stagnant and dirty. The restaurant is also quite expensive and the food is average at best. We hoped to eat in every night to avoid having to go out after returning from work but that wasn’t possible- we had to find good, cheaper local alternatives
The property is clean, the rooms are comfortable and a relaxing getaway from the hustle after a day working. The staff are very attentive, polite and happy to help.

South AfricaThe menu is very healthy but a bit limited. Some traditional Ugandan food would have been welcome. Also the wine selection could be expanded but this is said as a Cape Townian.
The property is quite close to the golf course and in the centre of town accessible to banking centres and commercial centres and main roads to Entebbe. I liked the quietness and tranquility of the place and the friendliness of the manager Dumi.

United KingdomOverall rooms and facilities are quite dated. Temperature control in the shower was challenging - either boiling hot or cold but nothing in between. Rooms were noisy - minimal soundproofing so anyone chatting in the corridor sounded like they were in the room with you. The buffet breakfast was a bit of a letdown and it was disappointing that there was not the option to order from the a la carte breakfast menu even if paying.
Lovely garden setting which felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. Staff were friendly. Very reasonable room rate.

KenyaThe Card Swiping POS machine was not functioning and no alternative option was available except cash payment. This was time consuming, I had to move in the city to find an ATM and collect cash! There is need to improve the monitoring of room cleaning. Some locations in the room where overlooked!
The hotel design is enjoyable, the rooms are good and provided with the necessary items. The place is quiet in a busy Kampala. Good staff! The waiting time in restaurant was good, with an adapted menu!
