  “Lovely setting if you’re on the expensive side looking at the pool and lake; not so good if you’re looking at the car park and busy road. Really good apartment; comfortable, safe, spacious and well-equipped — but cleaning and servicing left something to be desired. It’s not a hotel, as all the rooms are privately owned with the guest comings and goings being managed for the property investors. It gets very expensive at college football season but would be ideal for families to have interconnecting rooms and share a living room / kitchen.”

  “We booked the suite which looked good and was very spacious with the kitchen that had all commodities. However, the room was not cleaned well; the carpet was dirty and there weer stains on the couch, furthermore hairs and medicines were on the bathroom floor. We stayed for 5 nights and not once was the room cleaned, we also had to ask for new towels and for someone to empty the bins ourselves. A late check out or simply stalling our luggage was not even possible. At the price point of Lakeside lodge there are better, cleaner and friendlier accommodations available.”

  “Hands down the staff! Aways greeted with a smile and the repair guy was great, but he’s pulled in all directions with too many tasks as things don’t work. We Had a lot of issues with our room and front desk staff very apologetic and said they’d get on it, but couldn’t offer any money back as we booked through Bookings.com.”
