“Friendly welcome by reception staff. Hotel has been recently taken over and has had some refurbishing so everything seemed clean and fresh. Lovely big king bed room with a sofa , fridge and microwave. Good location rather than staying closer to a town . We didn’t have breakfast included in room rate but the breakfast area looked clean and modern. Tourist office across the road where you can purchase tickets for the trolley bus and they arrange for a transfer into town to the first stop. Couple of local restaurants next to the hotel. Approximately 25 mins walk into the main town. There is a lot of history to St Augustine so I would recommend the hop on/hop off trolley tour as they have a commentary by the driver which is very interesting. St Augustine is a really lovely place to stay, wish we had stayed longer. Lovely restaurants and shops, quaint houses and buildings.”
