Although in a residential street, it is close to a major thoroughfare which could be noisy at times.

A great getaway within easy reach of all the downtown sights, via the "L' subway system. Considering we let ourselves into the wrong apartment, we were very comfortable and found our host Safa charming and helpful.

The only thing for me was the desk/computer chair in the bedroom was not comfortable.

The location is near the 90 highway which leads to downtown in less than 30 minutes. There are many surrounding restaurants. It is a quiet residential area and available street parking depends on time of day. We still found a spot.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from Western / Milwalke metro. It was fine for us, even with 2 large cases, but might be less convenient for other travellers. It gave us the type of space we needed at a reasonable price.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, perfect for a family group who didn't want separate and anonymous hotel rooms. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it would have been very adequate. We were snug and warm on chilly November nights. The apartment was easy to find from the metro (handily between the airport and downtown). The host provided very helpful welcome and orientation information, and made sure everything was OK after check in. There's a great cantina on the corner 3 doors away (we heard no noise from it at all) and a coffee place along the street. Highly recommended La Cafe at Western metro for breakfast and any other meals.

This is our second time staying here! It’s in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby to explore and try. Everything was clean and comfortable and I plan on staying here for my next trip into town. The owner is very nice, responds fast and is great with communicating. I’d definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you’re looking around.

Just little outdated equipment

Good price in comparison with the hotels in the city center, especialy if there is organized some event. Very quiet location, possible to park for free, directly in front of the appartment. It is easy to reach the city center by Blue Metro Line. A lot of good not expensive restaurants around.

I would have liked more natural light but we were out all day so it hardly mattered.

Cool laid back location. Great host who was very prompt replying to my queries. 12 min walk to Blue Line, half an hour O'Hare, less to the city.

Location is not very well connected, so you always need to walk a lot or switch multiple buses/metros to get to the city center. We mostly ended up paying for LYFTs at night when too tired or when we had to rush downtown in the morning. There is also no option to store your bags after the 10 am checkout so you need to find a payed storage location (also needed a LYFT/Uber there). Overall, good value for money for the room, but you got to factor in all the transportation and luggage costs too, so keep that in mind..

Nice and spacious two bedroom place with a fully equipped kitchen. Check-in and out are very easy since the place works with a door code. The owner is very friendly and quickly available on chat to answer your questions.

Close safe street parking was easy, short walk to an excellent grocery store, medium walk to the blue line, quiet and comfy neighborhood on a Sunday morning, some lively night life, but not so much that it was annoying. Very good location and accommodations for the price. Nice to have an ironing board/iron and space to eat breakfast in before going out for the day.

It was in a quiet area but very very close to a lot of attractions and restaurants, driving or walking there was a lot close by. The building was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. Very cozy and somewhere I’m hoping to stay again for future visits.

the locks being reversed on the doors for some reason? hahah wasn’t a big deal at all we thought it was funny actually but just a heads up If you were to take suggestions, only cause we didn’t bring our own water, a brita to keep in the fridge I think would make for a nice addition to the stay!

loved the entrance part and how central it was to a lot of things around us! I love my showers and that shower was a Top 3 I’ve taken one in.. Insane water pressure beds were comfortable

Well communication with owner and prepared info about entrance to accomodation, Owner Safa is so friendly and help with all needed items which necessary, Easy connection by bus 72 to near blue line station Damen and than whole travelling by CTA metro around Chicago.

The only thing that could be improved is the addition of a recycling bin. However, I do not know anything about the recycling situation in Chicago.

The property was like a small apartment in the middle of the city! Parking in the street is free up to 7 days, which was also nice. On the corner of the same building is an excellent Mexican food restaurant. Staying at the property offered a glimpse of what it would be like to live there. I am not just satisfied, but will also try to stay there on future visits to Chicago.
