It was noisy from traffic at night. Wild chickens were all over, crying as early as 4am.

Great location! The beach behind the property is quiet and I felt like I was at my own private beach. If you want to swim, this may not for you as it was rocky. The room had full kitchen with everything we needed. Safeway was across the street, and we had breakfast and fresh coffee in our place daily without hassling of going out for breakfast. The shopping center across the street had many restaurants, Starbucks, and shops. It was just 10 minutes to Downtown Kapaaa and 40 minutes to Poipu Beach.

Musty smell in apartment which owner said was due to the climate. Sofa bed cover was a little dirty and sliding door needed fixing. Also hot water jug had mould in spout. Owner was informed and tried to remedy most of the issues identified.

Great location - close to beach and food outlets. Ross was right across the road too.

Wi-Fi was intermittent often stopping several times each hour. Had a business zoom call that got interrupted. Normally if you don’t spend a lot of time in the condo it wouldn’t matter. It took me a couple days to get oriented to the air conditioning controls. I finally called the organization who manages it and asked for help with the television remote and the air conditioning controller. It seems like an easy fix would be to have written instructions on the use of both. But, that’s just me. Lastly, the bedroom near the main sitting area has no clothes storage. None. It would be so easy to go to the local Walmart and purchase a small dresser. The room is large enough to accommodate one. Another possibility would be to place a dresser or shelving in the closet so future guests can unpack their clothes.

Great location and convenient to local grocery store, shopping and restaurants.

Our screen door was a little janky, got stuck a lot, but it did not detract at all from the experience of the property. Parking was tight, but no problems with it. The driveway of the property exits to the busy main highway with regular times of heavy traffic, but drivers were very generous and patient and allowed us to merge easily.

Location was great, with easy access to grocery stores and downtown Kapa'a. Comfortable driving distance to both ends of the road (Polihale and Hanalei). Having a full kitchen in the apartment was great for a week long stay, and it was well stocked with pots, pans, dishware, utensils, coffee pot, etc. Convenient washer and dryer in the bathroom; apartment was stocked with beach and bath towels, boogie boards and snorkel gear. It wasn't just a place to keep our stuff and sleep at night, it was our home away from home. You want to explore the Island and soak up as much Aloha as you can, but you also want your down time to be as enjoyable - I never felt like we were wasting time by staying in.

We did not like the communication with the property management regarding concerns we had. During our stay, we had issues with the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, causing a loud electro magnetic hum lasting 30 seconds and then cycled again after sometimes 15 seconds, sometimes 3-5 minutes. This would persist if the unit was on, off, and no matter what settings we set. All. Night. Long. I did not have any audible "decible meter" but it was as loud as a lawnmower outside or other type of lawn equipment motor. It was enough to wake me and my family out of a dead sleep. If you are a sleeper that is used to quiet, this issue will likely prevent you from being able to rest. We notified the property immediately upon arival via the Booking.com email we received, and there was some basic communication back and forth to property but due to the weekend they couldn't get anyone out. On Sunday, they had a maintenance person stop by who identified that the AC was in "Economy Mode" and when he turned that off, it didn't cycle as frequently, but the issue was not resolved. We were told by this employee that he had some other work in Princeville and would stop by on the way back through. While he was present, the issue happened multiple times - and after the adjustment it didn't happen for 4 minutes - but as soon as he left it happened. We emailed the property videos, as well as descriptions of what was happening, and did not receive any correspondance back. I ensured that I continued to correspond and send out emails requesting status updates on when this matter would be resolved - and received nothing back. There were also cockroaches in unit, as well as ants on kitchen surfaces / floors. Management refused to bring bug spray when notified. Bar stools are not level on two of the four feet and were very wobbly for children to be sitting in.

My family and I appreciated the location of this condo. It was around 800 feet to the beach, and the beach offered wonderful sunrise views. We appreciated that there was a pool right outside our condo lanai and we could easily take our children to swim within 20 feet of our lanai with a fenced, locked, private pool.
