You can just tell that the owners really care about this place. The house is in such good care and clearly beloved. Plus I feel lucky that I got to experience a slice of Minneapolis history!

We were a little confused if this was a B&B or not, I thought it was, but I'm sure I skimmed over something that clarified. No biggy, just a misunderstanding.

The mansion itself is so gorgeous with so many details (the furniture, the rugs, the woodwork, the bedding, on and on) that make it so special. A very memorable building. The garden, the flowers, the koi pond. The game room. The location-- ohmagosh, we could walk to Loring Park, over to the art sculptures like the Cherry and Spoon Bridge, and over to the Chain of Lakes. We walked to Brit's Tavern, Brühaven, Nicollet Diner. The staff was so friendly and lovely. A big applause

From the moment I made the reservation, they were very accommodating my very late arrival time that far exceeded their check-in time. They were able to make arrangements to accommodate my situation without imposing an extra charge. That to me was so kind and thats when I realized that I was in good hands. The property is so beautiful and the decorum is exquisite. Thank you so much! I would recommend to anyone who is interested in having a real touch of Minneapolis history while experiencing world-class hospitality.

It was advertised as a bed and breakfast, but they actually didn’t serve food. The “breakfast” I got was a $20 gift certificate to the Nicollet diner (also a wonderful establishment, and VERY satisfied with the meal, but it’s not what I was expecting).

Property is old, registered with the national registry of historic places. Beautiful wood floors, antique furniture, radiator heated. Everything about this place is straight out of 1900. Neighborhood is amazing! Architecturally, and also just naturally - with beautiful Loring park less than a 5 min walk away. Home base for trolley tours of downtown Minneapolis. An amazing find!

Everything! Everything from the friendly confirmation message to start the trip to the easy check out process. Very affordable, private parking, quick tour to familiarize you with the property, fewer guests makes for a very intimate atmosphere. features a beautiful rose garden around a large koi pond, fantastic place for a picnic! Don’t want to spoil all the surprises! Overall, a near magical stay at a very reasonable price point that is located less than a few miles from downtown and the Target Center. Historic Bed and Breakfast in a Historic City. 10/10

It would have been nice to have a breakfast option on site. Also the door to the room required me to slam it shut super loudly each time in order for it to properly close.

The house was absolutely beautiful. It is really elegant, but was set up to be very cozy for guests. The staff were extremely warm and helpful throughout my stay. It was a great way to relax for a solo staycation in Minneapolis. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I liked that there was tea or coffee anytime. The building was beautiful. The shared bathroom was huge with an old clawfoot tub. I'd prefer to share the bathroom over having a little mini bathroom. I didn't have time to appreciate the grounds other than through the window. The huge porch was lovely in the rain, but it was a bit cold outside to really make use of it. The old steam radiators were a big noisy but excellent for drying any clothes or towels.

This Heritage House is beautifully presented and furnished with magnificent gardens to stroll or sit in with a libation. Location was great, near Loring Park and other beautiful heritage architecture. A joy to come back to every day.

The mattress could have been better, and the drain of the third floor bathroom sink drained slowly.

I have no complaints, but do wonder if I can return with my wife sometime, because she is a little unsteady at times and may not be comfortable in a shower without grab rails.

The only thing I thought a little “different” was that the price does not include amenities that normally would be included in a stay like this. For example, there was a hot tub, but you’d have to book it and pay for it separately. As is with the movie room in the basement.

It’s stunning! Love the historical element and how wonderfully preserved the property is.

Extra charges above what was posted on Booking.com. The area of the building we were in needs some minor repairs. Breakfast was remote and extra versus the traditional B&B format.
