The property requires you to wear wristbands at all times for each member of the family. I wore the kids bands on me since they would lose them. I had no issue with wearing the bands but the “Security Guard” was over the top with checking people constantly to see if they were wearing them. We always had ours on but were asked multiple times if we were wearing them when they were easily able to be seen. The security guard was stopping everyone Saturday night requiring people to show him. One older couple got so upset by his demeanor they gathered their luggage from their room and left. I understand rules but train your staff to look for the bands and only question when they cannot be seen.

The amenities were wonderful! Right on the beach, great boardwalk and gazebo with swing overlooking the dunes and ocean. The outdoor pool and playground is amazing for kiddos with a gradual entrance and water slides.

The room itself was awful and not clean. Door was hard to close and lock, back door was difficult to open, room was dirty, kitchen had grease and food stains, hair all over bathrooms.

Did not know they were doing construction right on the beach in front of resort so we were unable to do our daily walks.

The property itself is cute and cozy, but the staff minus the manager are lazy I’m not very friendly. Upon arrival the security guy at the gate did his job but lacks personality and enthusiasm. The receptionist obviously 1) hates her job or 2) lacks professionalism. I was given a map of the property after checking in. Not knowing anything about the property I asked where my room was. She said the highlighted area. There are about 300-400 apartments and multiple highlighted areas. The manager saw the expression on my face and quickly jumped in to explain the map. She was very sweet. Definitely the nicest person I met on the trip. After entering our room we quickly unpacked and went to the grocery store, spending $315 on food and then went back to the apartment and unpacked. The next morning we realized that our drinks were cool but not cold and called maintenance. The guy on the phone said it turn the refrigerator up and it would take 24 hours to completely get cold. We waited aprox. 12-15 hours and called back to let him know that the refrigerator hasn’t gotten any colder we were going to lose all of our food. We put a few things in a small beach cooler. Right away a maintenance man came and thawed out the freezer and said the frozen area in the freezer was blocking the circulation of air to the refrigerator. This part I don’t understand but I’m not a mechanic. He then said we had to wait another 24 hours. at this point I told him if it didn’t start to feet cold we would lose all of our groceries. We called maintenance 10 times over the next 24 hours with no answer. We cooked what we could and lost the rest. The refrigerator never got cold. Our stat overall was good because it was spent with family, but it was aggravating to say the least to lose your groceries/and have to worry about it. Upon. checking out I did tell the sweet manager about our stay and she said she would reimburse me part of the grocery bill.

Pull out couch had dirty linens on it. Oven smoked when using. Room was cleaner when we left then when we got there. We were not informed that we could not get fresh towels until I needed more.

The walk to the ocean is very, very long and the sand is loose and deep. It is extremely difficult to walk in especially if you have health problems. If you have knee, hip, ankle, leg or breathing problems it is extremely arduous. Our room was nice but the master bathtub drain was slow and the patio door would not lock. Bring a bathroom wash rag...none are supplied. Also bring spices..none are in the kitchen. We arrived on Sunday evening and had trouble finding a restaurant open. Seems a lot of them have reduced hours due to a work force shortage.

The pool was very nice. Access to the parking lot is a plus. The indoor pool and hot tub is great. The local restaurants that were open (a lot were closed) were superb.

There was dirty socks in our room, the stopper in tub didn't work so no baths, the dryer didn't dry well. The mattress on the pull out couch is awful. Fyi. And people next door smoking weed on balcony, we had to close our doors and windows it was so strong

Roaches all over the property, black mold on the windows, bedbugs all over the bed, staff rude and very racist (not just casually) A complete nightmare.

Cockroach in room. Old ketchup packet laying in window sill. Bathroom bathtub did not drain in one bathroom. Toilet paper holder off wall and laying on sink. This was the second time we have stayed here but will not stay again because of lack of cleanliness.
