On Booking.com it says that you are required to pay a $100 deposit for your stay and we were prepared to do this. However, when we arrived they asked for $100 per night in advance of our stay. Meaning when we arrived we were asked for $800 (!).

Staff were very friendly and the location is excellent. The room was also lovely. Overall a very nice hotel.

I was not a fan of the glass wall into the bathroom with glass sliding door. It provided ZERO privacy; you could see and hear all that went on in there.

The staff was super friendly and engaging, the room was quiet, parking was a breeze, and the location was perfect for us going to Fine Line.

That even booking a room for $300 I still had to pay $40 for not even 24 hours of parking. LMAO

The base price was okay for the area. But then you also have $40 fee for parking if needed. No real amenities such as pool or hot tub. Bathroom door didn’t close easily (sliding glass) The chair in the room had zero cushion.

Wonderful hotel! The staff is very polite and helpful, always ready to assist. The rooms are clean and cozy, with regular housekeeping. Breakfasts are tasty and varied — something new every day. Only positive impressions from the stay. I highly recommend it!

"Free" WiFi was free only for Mariott Members, I thought that was very tacky. If you show up before 2 PM and ask for early check in, they charge $25 for early check-in.

Room had comfortable bed and nice amount of space. Parking in attached garage for extra fee. They download a QR code code to 1 phone for in/out privileges. We did not do breakfast there, was $17 extra, did try cofeee and it was not very good. Staff was very friendly. Minneapolis visitor center was only a block away and gave us some tips on buildings to check out. If you are a Bob Dylan fan, there is a mural of him very close to hotel.

Surprised how easy it was to find Hotel. Great location in downtown theater district. Some people might be put off about the location but I found it as a vibrant vibe about it. Target Field and Target Center just a couple of blocks away. Timberwolves and the Twins had games this past weekend, the area was hopping. Downtown Minneapolis is actually not that hard to get around.

Parking was very expensive. It should be complimentary for hotel guests. I also did not like having to pay for the continental breakfast.

Safety for hotel guests. I liked the fact that the elevators required you to scan your hotel key to go up the floors. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

It is hard to say because the expectations were met and thanks to hospitality-oriented staff somehow were exceeded. It is important to clearly understand what can I expect from the location.

Cornelius at the reception desk did a gorgeous job! Clarified all the misunderstandings and helped out with the parking. I liked the gym and the view from the window. The room was clean and smelled good.

Really cordial, welcoming desk staff who recommended a nearby place for dinner. Our room on 8th floor was quiet. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for luggage. I would book AC for any Minneapolis stay again!

The light switches were a little confusing--what switch went with each light--and the lighting was dim. Hard to do my makeup before the show.

The room was very nicely laid out, comfortable, clean; nice amenities incl. rainfall shower.
