To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Czech RepublicFor the price the room was pretty small and some furniture looked dated - we did not care but I can imagine some people might want a more polished looking accommodation.
The staff was lovely and very helpful. The room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom looked new and modern.

SloveniaThe location is not so good when it comes to feeling safe walking around neighbourhood. We were avoiding walking around in the evening or night time. During the day time, we quickly realised which streets are safer to walk around (streets near Financial district).
It was in centre, close to the metro station with many routes. It was comfortable, nice room, it has a nice rooftop with a pool.

United States of AmericaHonestly - I liked all of it. There wasn't anything not to like for me. If you feel like you need a tall, lush, deep mattress and silence in your room then this may not be your place, but the room was really comfortable overall and I slept great. They even had a noise machine!
It's going to depend on what you are looking for, but I loved my stay here. It's definitely minimalist. The bed was comfortable but low to the ground kind of futon like. I thought that the rooms had great light and I liked the whole overall vibe of the place. The coffee shop in the lobby was cool and even though the counter closes around lunch time I think, I made tea and took my book down there and read for a while anyway. I really liked the rooftop spot. It's too bad that the rooftop bar isn't open anymore, it was most likely a very cool place to hang out, but it was quiet and very chill. It's a modern no contact type of place, but the staff we did see and talk to was very nice.

United States of AmericaNot enough towels, the shower did not have a curtain so the water went everywhere. Shower tile should be scrubbed because I saw moldy tiles in the corner. At 9:22 am, I was woken up by knocking. When I asked who it is, they started entering our door code to enter. I had to get out of bed and open the door and hotel staff/maid was walking away and didn’t apologize. Unacceptable. Parking should be comped from hotel, no parking on site and having to pay and walk to my car is likely a reason I wouldn’t stay again. Everything is too expensive

United States of AmericaThe vibe is a little ‘elevated dorm room’ but honestly it was so comfortable and they have many nice finishes and amenities so I would stay again. Slept great, super comfortable.
The location is great, a nice block surrounded by historic theaters in the Fashion District. I was attending a conference at the Convention Center and it was easy and convenient. We had dinner at Zinqué and it was delicious! Wish I could have seen the show at the adjacent UA theater, Cat Power was playing, but I had an early night. Also wish I could have shopped at Ganni, but work shmirk. Next time!!

United States of AmericaOf coarse parking is an issue. Though our son lives in the apartment building across the street, so we were able to have access to their facility.
The room had an interesting layout and decorum. We were on the eighth floor but could still feel the bass from the music coming from the rooftop bar on the weekend. The bed was average.
