It’s a bit out on its own and not in the centre of Taos.

Such a beautiful property, room and garden. I spent a lot more time than I expected there just sitting in the garden. Fantastic breakfast always changing. Super friendly staff who felt like they genuinely cared. Even though near the road it was quite quiet.

We booked their smaller rooms, knowing we weren’t going to spend a lot of time in the rooms. If you like a little more space, I’d recommend booking a larger room.

The property is secluded in a beautiful elm tree grove, just off of highway 68. The grounds around the bed & breakfast are lush with flowers, plants and gardens, where they grow a lot of the vegetables and herbs they use in the amazing breakfast they serve. There are several places to sit and relax and enjoy the nature. My favorite was the courtyard. When we arrive at check-in time (3:00pm), we were greeted by Cat and a couple of the property welcome dogs! Our rooms were made up and ready for us immediately. The rooms we stayed in are a couple of the smallest rooms. They were cozy, but comfortable - keep in mind, these are old adobe buildings, converted into a bed & breakfast, not a modern purpose-built hotel. The staff was amazing and attentive. They were happy to get us anything we needed. They even remembered that my wife is gluten free and made her a special breakfast to accommodate her. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the architecture and thoughtful design of this bed and breakfast. It was peaceful and quiet, and there were beautiful details around every corner. We especially enjoyed the gardens, the labyrinth, and the lawn chairs beneath the trees.

We loved everything about this unique property! We were in the Rosa room and used the sauna and tub everyday. Every room seemed to have beautiful details. We walked the labyrinth and found peaceful places to read. The breakfast was the best food all week. The property has so many interesting details everywhere, a feast for the eyes! Robbie was so responsive and kind.

Nothing to dislike - the stay was excellent!

Adobe and Pines exceeded our expectations for a stay in Taos! We stayed here as a home base for skiing at Taos Ski Valley and exploring downtown, and it was an easy drive to both destinations. The rooms were impeccably clean and full of charm and amenities we weren't expecting (cozy fireplace! warm robes! slippers!) Some additional perks: the water pressure was AMAZING - best shower I've taken in a long time. The breakfast was DELICIOUS - do NOT expect a boring continental breakfast...Robbie and his team crafted beautiful meals our whole party enjoyed.

We had a small issue with some mice in our apartment, but the staff were quick to come set traps and do additional cleaning which was much appreciated.

The property is beautiful and serene! Our family brought our two dogs who were welcomed with open arms. We found the two bedroom apartment to be very comfortable and accommodating. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, but wish there was more variety day to day instead of the same two options three days in a row. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Taos!

Traffic noise couldn't be helped, but it took away from the serenity of the whole place.

Our accommodations were terrific, nicely decorated. The grounds were lovely. And the breakfasts were spectacular!

Home-made breakfast was very tasty, cooked with care, and, though we appreciated its quality, think that the quantity could have been larger. Or, at least, that we were asked if we wanted some more. Plus, orange juice for example, was not complementary even though our kids were served half plates but still paid the room (and breakfast) in full...

The location is amazing, full of history. Close to Taos, quiet and green surroundings. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, with everything needed.

It’s slightly out of town so a car is necessary, but the property is so big and beautiful, it’s normal to not want to leave

Guests who are sensitive to road noise may find the outdoors less enjoyable. However, noise was not an issue indoors.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the 2-bedrooms with the hot tub facing the labyrinth. It was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious both days and the staff was dedicated to quality. The grounds are beautifully laid out with private gardens and art. Buildings are creatively restored and decorated. Close to town, yet private and relaxing.

Road noise was intrusive. Breakfast started at 9 AM, which was a little late for us. (8 AM would have been better.) Those are my only negatives, and they are minor quibbles.

This is a beautiful B&B located south about 4 miles south of downtown Taos. It's just off a highway, so there is some road noise, especially if you get a room on that side of the building. The breakfasts were excellent. The grounds included hammocks, fire pits, and comfy chairs, as well as a mindfulness labyrinth if you're into that sort of thing (we are). I would love to return in the future.

A very pretty get-away place. Serene, private, pretty grounds. Owner was very accommodating, not "in your face" but there if you needed anything. Very enjoyable.

Our hosts, Cat & Robbie, were awesome & catered to our weird dietary restrictions (between being vegetarian & Passover restrictions re:leavening). They had great recommendations for what to see & where to eat. We were in the Violeta suite - huge space and lovely balcony to see the spring flowers on the grounds. Large property with an ancient aqueduct, tons of trees and flowers.

What a lovely stay! This B & B is wonderful—lovely people, beautiful gardens, great location, delicious breakfast, very cozy and inviting main area and guest room. Especially love that the living history of the former estate remains intact. One of the most memorable experiences over the course of many years of travel.

There could be a folding "platform" or such for placing suitcases on. We only had the floor to do such - a bit inconvenient. Also, although we very much liked the hot tub, there should be some explanation as to how to use it. Could be a page on the table in the room.

WE liked the atmosphere, the staff (most excellent!), and the amenities. Breakfasts were wonderful and cooked (not just cereals and the old usual stuff).

Nothing, everything is beautiful!!

Location is perfect, the property is beautiful, peaceful, clean and charming. Breakfast was amazing. Cat and Robbie the hosts, are friendly, helpful and add to the attraction of Adobe Pines.
