Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe bed was too soft for me and the walls are paper thin so you hear every breath and whisper from the other guests in the common areas and bedrooms.
This is a funky place, with shared living quarters and bathrooms. Shoes are not allowed inside. The bedroom I had was large with a small table and several lamps for nighttime reading. The owners were friendly and not intrusive at all.

United StatesIt is a little hard to find. It didn't bother us when we visited, but know that the rooms aren't heated.
House provided coffee (K-cups) and instant oatmeal, bottled water. It was fine. Kitchen was well equipped, staff was always available, place was quiet, grounds were gorgeous. Great view from room. Easy, free parking.

United StatesConsider offering an accommodation to older folks surrounding the custom to remove shoes inside house. My husband and I have no arches in our feet and need our supportive footwear--- it made us uncomfortable and I left behind my expensive walking shoes in their inside shoe rack and don't know how to reach them??? Perhaps make it an optional invitation instead of mandatory.
The host Cana (sp?) was delightful, gracious and personally offered to help us carry into house all our luggage. . . Above & Beyond!!

Quirk galore. Colorful inside and out. Sincere, happy and generous hosts. Courtesy Perrier and coffee to enjoy… no tv (fine by me). Pretty grounds enhanced by the long view. Clean sheets, quiet setting and interesting guests made for an enjoyable retreat.

NetherlandsThe walls are thin so the *quiet between 10pm-7am* rule is kinda important, not all other guests got that while I was staying there.

United StatesGreat location relative to KOA airport and downtown Kailua-Kona if you have a car and don't mind being off the beaten path a bit. Property has a phenomenal, elevated view of the ocean from the common area. The host was very nice and informative. The place is a little run down but for the price it is perfect and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. My wife and I stayed in a private room with a shower, toilet, and sink right outside our room. Super convenient and even though others could use these facilities we pretty much had them all to ourselves. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

CanadaPlace is out of the way and a little difficult to find at night. Place has a communal eclectic vibe to it and I could see how it might turn some people off. Read the reviews before you go to see if it's your cup of tea.
Bedroom in a house with shared bathroom and shower and kitchen. We had the deluxe oceanview room which had largest bed I've ever slept on (California king?). Room was separate from the main house rooms and was very quiet. Coffee and some snack bars for breakfast. Relatively cheap price if you need a place for 1 or 2 nights for less than $150 per night. Room was relatively clean.
