Comfortable bed

For a suite, access to a washer and dryer would have been nice. There was a washer and dryer upstairs but it was not hooked up. The description in booking.com says "washing machine". The kitchen only had 3 cups and 3 bowls and not very clean dishes.

Large, nice refrigerator.

False advertising, we reserved a room with washer, and with lake vies and balcony. When we arrived we were given the down stairs room, with no washer view or balcony. I reserved for a week and planned on the washer. The day we checked in I messaged and called the contact was answered first, then all txts and calls were ignored. It would not be feasible to drive to town to find a laundry Matt. So we just stayed wet and dirty. We hung up a line to try and dry clothing. Anyway don’t expect responses from manager or responses to concerns.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Will be staying there again.

Lots of road noise from the highway.

They have lock boxes and you don’t get the code until you arrive. They don’t tell you that either. It is very close to a busy highway and there was a tot of road noise. Kitchen wasn’t well equipped. No toaster and very few pots and pans. It was very noisy. And the view of the lake was not great

Nicely decorated, clean motel room. Easy communication with the manager.

You can hear the road and the neighbors. Ear plugs or a white noise app may be needed to sleep.

Beautiful property, room very nice and the bed was fabulous, like new and modern decor. Bathroom very nice and spacious.

It did not offer any outdoor seating area or a place to gather outside. Perhaps a small fire-pit or gas fireplace would lend some needed charm. Maybe an extra kayak or bike to utilize with the stay to really make it a true lodge experience. This is just a very nice room to sleep in and continue on to the next location. Nothing here makes you want to linger or experience Alaska. The public boat ramp was pretty flooded over making access to the lake impossible on foot. There was a jet skier doing donuts on the lake that was very noisy and killed any ambiance the small lake had.

There was no extra toilet paper

Near restaurants and Parks across the street from al lake which had a boat ramp. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom! Lu was very accommodating.

Need suitcase racks and small dresser for clothing. Free standing closet was not sturdy. Fridge could have been on a crate or something for easier access. Should have sign on road where to turn off.

Location outside of Soldotna. Didn’t quite expect it to be right on the Sterling Hwy, though.

Property not managed onsite when we got there. Building construction looked new-ish, but walls were so thin and layout so bad we heard highway traffic constantly through the stay. Could not open windows for ventilation. Still ended up hearing fellow guests as if they were sharing our room! The tub was deep with high sides making entry hazardous for showers. On top of that, it was completely slippery — had to throw a towel on the bottom just to stand up. Not sure why they put seniors on the second floor w/ no elevator. The stairs were not only high, the railings were unsteady and not easy to grasp. Heard one of the other guests complain about the same issue.

Our accommodations were wonderful. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was great. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special!

This is a wonderful newly built motel stay! It is absolutely worthy of 5 or more stars. The bed and pillows are THE most comfortable I've ever experienced, and I spend nearly 50+ nights a year at Marriotts around the world, including the JW Marriott. The room is neatly appointed with an uncluttered look, open spaciousness, and tasteful decorating. Smart remote management is minutes away should you need anything. Very well run operation. Highly recommended for those of you needing a stay in the Soldotna area, a mere 5 minutes away.
