Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff did bare minimum seem bothered by asking for things. Toilet ran all night. Security latch was missing. People yelling in parking lot right outside office. No toiletries except one small hand soap. Shady looking people in parking lot felt like my car was going to get broken into. I will not be staying here again im definitely paying a little more for a better stay next time.

The room was only clean-ish. Floor was sticky, dead bug on the bathroom floor. The deadbolt on the door to the room didn't work. No plug for the bathtub drain (I made do with a wadded-up washcloth). For the price I didn't really expect a coffeemaker or microwave, but not even shampoo? No wi-fi because they were changing providers
Got stranded at night in ABQ and needed a cheap, safe, and convenient place to stay. Booked the last available room at that price (and it was a good price). I worried that it would be loud but it wasn't, and had blackout curtains so I slept well.

absence of advertised wi-fi following a paid in full booking created unpleasing adversity in my attempts do deal with real-time mission critical online communication with 2 separate banks of which i have accounts w/ decades of impeccable billpayment history, both began denying my cards due to one ? subsequent charge their algorithms deemed sketchy. i eventually got it sorted prior to my return flight check in deadline. so now harm/no foul.
good value for need. reasonable amenities friendly staff/ownership.

I had a long drive from Utah, called in to let them know I would arrive late they said it was ok as there was always somebody at the desk. Nobody was there by the time I arrived, slept at the car about one gour and somebody showed up and checked me in. Room could have been better maintained.

It was FAR FAR away from EVERYTHING! If you don't have a car, it's a hike to ANY of the buses, or stores.
My first room had no heat so they changed me rooms at no extra cost. The staff was friendly.

Terrible customer service
Customer service at the desk was terrible. They were not polite in any way shape or form. They’re actually pretty damn rude. They did not want to honor the deal that was made online they want to charge me twice as much for the room will never do it again

The bathroom and shower were wet with hairs all over. Just overall dirty and you can see that it was not cleaned, even though we did a late check-in. There was plenty of time to clean the bathroom.

I didn't like the fact that someone was trying to break in to my car my front and passenger had markings that you could yell someone was trying to break inn..., oh and future reference even if tired always pay attention to your parking don't park in fire lanes you will be towed... I almost was....

The outside appearance was trashy. The front desk support was intermittent. There were no trash cans in the room. Only one bar of soap, no other amenities (for example, shampoo). Everything is a bare minimum. The general environment was dingy.
It’s location relative to the airport. The heater in the room was functional.

I didn’t like the cleanliness of the room. It smelled of Clorox, which irritated my sinuses. I found some kind of bug in the restroom. The outside was very noisy throughout the entire night, which woke me up several times.
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because I wanted to experience breakfast at other places.
