Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and the complimentary cheese and wine night was very cute!

United States of AmericaWe had to leave by 6 am. The person at the desk said that breakfast would be served at that time. However, in the morning we were told that breakfast would serve at 7.
It was in a good location.

United States of AmericaThe flat screen TV in my room was pretty small and a really old model, don't usually complain about things like that but with how nice everything else was I was surprised they had a TV like that. Also, the phone in my room did not work. I checked to see if the cord was plugged into the wall and found that the cord was completely cut in two.
The place was beautiful, clean and the staff were friendly. Also , they had a free wine tasting in the lounge the evening I stayed there, not sure if they do it every evening but either way was a great way to relax after a busy day.

United States of AmericaBuilding was quite warm and we were advised there was no individual temperature control option in the rooms. We were able to open the window though, and got the space cooled off that way. Attempted to reach the front desk by phone several times with general questions - nobody ever answered.
The evening snacks were great! Front desk staff were helpful in person.

United States of America-Mediocre to low-end breakfast. Too much of the sweet treats whereas something energetic that could help you active for a few hours is lacking. I felt like they could swap the "wine & cheese" evenings with the breakfast and this would do. -The street is noisy but the staff was kind enough to provide earplugs -Definitely a bit dated property but well-maintained
-More affordable than hotels in the local area (but still a considerable amount) -Walkable distance to metro & buses -Different facilities nearby such as cafes & small corner shops -Close to the Old Town. -Responsive staff -Great wine & cheese evenings

United States of AmericaIt was a little tacky with the red slipcovers over the sofas and chairs in dining room area. The beds were too firm for me…on a platform with no boxspring and truly uncomfortable. They have one small elevator so at times like checkout, it could be a wait.
It was quiet, clean, very reasonably priced for Philadelphia, and offered a continental breakfast (yummy croissants) and a wine and cheese social every night. In addition, they give a voucher for $10 off the 24 hour parking at a local garage.

United States of AmericaA little dated and HDMI is not accessible on the TVs. Big deal if you have little gamers traveling with consoles.
The staff was amazing! Honestly, would return just because of them and the location. Very close to Terminal Market. The hotel itself is okay, but becomes great with the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Big thanks to Sharita and Danielle for a nice stay!
