Noisy bar across the street kept me up half the night. Shower leaked. Only decaf coffee in the room, coffee tray not clean.

We kept seeing these little black bugs on the table and in the bed . I found one on my shirt as I was watching tv in the bed. I didn’t tell anyone because they never ask, but probably won’t use Aloft hotel again. Ask for fresh towels for the next day, never received them.

t's been almost a year since I've staying in Marriott brands. But fees seem to be increasing and new ones popping up. I usually stay at the Omni hotel when I visit Corpus Christi, but the prices were way too high so my wife and I decided to try Aloft. Staff was very nice, I like the bar with the TVs where you can watch games but for the price paid 134 and then one night and then 174 the second night I don’t think it was worth it.

It’s was easy to find, staff was super courteous, quick check in and they even had my room available before check in time which was awesome traveling with a toddler.

The price was a little high. Booked 2 nights for 3 adults, husband, me and daughter and paid $409.

The fact that I was hit with a $500 ticket for parking in front of the hotel. There are about 7-10 spaces in front of the hotel and we parked in one of them. We did NOT notice the red curb nor was there any signage about not parking in those spots. There were several cars parked here. When we left this morning, we (and every car on the front lot), had parking tickets on our windshields!!! FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS A POP! WHAT A SCAM!! THERE WERE NO ‘NO PARKING’ SIGNS in front NOR DID THE RECEPTIONIST WARN US. THIS MUST HAPPEN DAILY. IS THIS HOW CORPUS BILKS TOURISTS??? A SUPER upsetting ending to a weekend at the beach. DO NOT STAY HERE. I FEEL LIKE WE WERE SCAMMED. NEVER AGAIN.

This place is incredible! Super clean, wonderfully friendly staff, and they welcome pets, even our parrot, without charging an extra fee! The ease with our last minute reservation minimized our stress level with an unexpected trip from Austin, and we really couldn’t be happier with our experience. They are right across from a delectable steakhouse that we had discovered a few years ago, they are central to a lot of other great restaurants, their pool was clean and they were only 15 minutes from our favorite beach! They have an in house bar, a pool table and games you can play downstairs. The hot water in the shower was instantaneous and the room was immaculate. Black out curtains and sound proofed walls allowed for a peaceful sleep, and we wished we could stay longer! Any time we visit Corpus Christi, this is the place we will return to.

The weekend we stayed there they were having some issues with the A/C so it was kind of hot walking in but our rooms were pretty cold

first room had a weird AC unit with a mind of its own. Ultimately it started to leak and freeze up. 2nd room 4 days into our stay had scotch tape on the walls holding the paint in place, a very dirty door, TV with a thick layer of dust. not very clean but I was so tired from working nights we settled for less than ideal. we will not be going back again…way too expensive for how dirty it was.

The fact that I traveled 4 hours to get to my vacation destination and almost had my whole trip ruined. When I initially selected and paid for my hotel there was no imformation on pet restrictions online. I called to double check pets were welcomed and if there were any extra fees because when booking my room it did state if pets there may be an extra charge. They did not inform me of any rules for the pets. When I arrived I was checking in and then informed I needed to sign a two page “agreement”. When reading the agreement it said we could not leave our pets side at all for any reason. Couldn’t leave the premises without them. Couldn’t leave the room without them if the cleaning people where going to service the room etc etc. This detailed our plans of being able to leave our two small quiet dogs in the room for an hour or two or even for just going to do some necessities shopping. I had to quickly find an alternative to our stay and book a dog sitter online who agreed to a last minute daycare service for a fee. We wasted our first day of our stay booking a doggy day case because dog rules were not upfront on any website we booked the hotel for. We rushed through our second day stay to try and fit all our planned activities for the stay and we didn’t get to fulfill all of them.
