Quiet hotel, peaceful, clean rooms, modern but keeping in key west style, staff very friendly and helpful anything you need willing to help. Location right off Duvall street. One of my best stays in key west. Pool perfect, highly recommend and beautiful with coffee and local papers as well.

The bed frame though was pretty shaky even for just one person just trying to sleep, so probably won’t recommend my room for couples lol.

Free parking was a savor since it’s really hard to find free street parking in Key West! The location was great if you don’t go to some of the harbors for water activities. Otherwise it can be a lot of walks. The staff was amazing, even carried our bags to the room (2nd floor). Would absolutely recommend coming here if you have car!

We stayed in room #6. Unfortunately there was no soundproofing or anything in the ceiling, then we heard everything from the guest upstairs at all times. We had a good time during our stay but sleeping was impossible with the noise coming from above.

The parking location is not adjacent to the property - so recommend to drop off the bags and then park. On the plus side, the hotel has a standing arrangement for free parking, which is a very valuable bonus in the middle of Key West.

Nice and cosy hotel right in the middle of action, but tacked away from the noise and intrusions. Very safe. I enjoyed the pool and the coffee/tea facilities. Everything is well organised and runs smoothly here.

All was fine however, girl at desk did not take to locals staying at hotel why? I don't know . I am having hard time accepting that I am in and out of Key West and like to relax ibetween work. I am artist at celebration Mallory square.. True I stay only one or two days but hey...I pay for it. Don't feel wanted so I can't stay there.

I'm not fond of the parking challenges. THIS IS NO FAULT of Douglas House. As a matter of fact, they have a nice parking lot less than a block away. But as a disabled senior, it complicates loading and unloading. In Key West, you can park in reserved Residential Parking spaces, but they are often filled and my van is too long for successful parallel parking.

The location is excellent as it's crossroad is Duval Street, where most of the activity (fun, excitement, restaurants, shops)happen. The room was spacious and clean and the air conditioning was excellent. That's a very important factor in the Keys 😁 in the Summer.

I would’ve liked to see more restaurant suggestions in the lobby. Lots of ads for tourist attractions but not many recommendations for food. The parking lot was off property at the next block over so it was not ideal as I was not able to keep an eye on my vehicle.

I was able to walk everywhere! If I ever needed a ride in a car it was only a 5 min ride to anywhere worth visiting! The pictures did not do the room justice as it was way more beautiful and clean looking in person! Very spacious! Would highly recommend!

The garden area of Douglas House was the most amazing oasis of calm and relaxation. The room was equipped with everything you could want, and more. The beds were so comfortable too.
