Just needs some updating

Not the most up to date and modern but beds were clean and location to airport was good. Shuttle was prompt at getting us to airport early in morning. Staff very kind.

The oder/smell throughout the lobby to and including our room. The old rundown, broken areas, very much in need of renovation. Carpets old, spotted, and soiled. Chairs in the lobby and room…same.

There was a large kitchen with full fridge, stove, microwave, sink, etc. - but not one plate, cup or cutlery! So it couldn't be used. The noise of the person overhead was a real problem. The airport shuttle was good but the hotel is too far from central Anchorage. Despite running the water for a long time, the shower was never hot - so annoying.

The young woman receptionist in the evenings and at weekends was very helpful and wonderful! The breakfast was excellent.

The place is old, rundown, and not very clean. There is no elevator, so you have to carry everything up the stairs. The shower was rusted and had debris in the tub. The couch was very old and had dirt and crumbs on it.

It was convenient from the airport and the staff was nice.

Very eclectic neighborhood. Lots of homeless people. Drugs and alcohol being consumed in plain sight. With that said, I had no problems during my one night stay. No elevator, and I had a third floor room and several heavy pieces of luggage. Staff offered to assist.

I was unaware there had been a fire at the main building and it is completely boarded up and uninhabitable. The secondary building next door where I stayed was fine, but I initially thought upon arrival that the entire business was closed. I would have appreciated information about the property damage/closure up front.

I didn’t like the fact that someone came pounding on my room door at 4 am waking us up.

They didn’t put breakfast out the first few nights. It was very irritating because it was supposed to come with the stay.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom of my room. Hair and dirt on walls in bathroom and loud slamming doors. There was a light outside on the building that was flickering all night long and was visible, even when curtains were closed.

Easy and fast airport shuttle. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

Thin walls- was awakened several times by noise in the halls. Includes a screaming lady at 1:30am. Trying to get someone to check her in.

Very old. I just needed a place for the day till it was time to fly out. Microwave and fridge but no plates, cups or anything to make a cup of coffee. Wendy's, Maccas a 1 min walk. Another hotel, 5min walking distance if you want to watch the float planes on the lake.

Location, lose to the airport. Shuttle bus will pick you up and drop you off there.

Very run down, poor maintenance, very dirty and stained carpets. First bedroom we went to the floors were extremely sticky and had not been cleaned. Very dirty and dusty. Second room was tolerable. Bedding was not washed, but sheets were clean. Floors were not sticky, but still had spots. Tub was not clean, so we did not use the shower. Poorly constructed. Painting and caulking is terribly done. All in all, it was very low-quality and very disappointing for a hotel stay.

Location, close to the airport. Has shuttle service and breakfast available.
