United StatesThe first night we didn't realize that the door didn't lock/ shut unless you slam it, room 106. Very unnerving when your door just pushes open after a long day. Luckily nothing was missing.We let the door slam after that.The rooms were dated, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The sink wouldn't turn off all of the way, it continued to drip (didn't make a sound though), it drove me nuts. The bathroom was in need of attention. The ceiling was gross, I was going to take a picture, but I got side tracked.
Location was very close to the convention center. The rooms were comfortable and there was a nice fridge in the room. Close to food as well.

United StatesCobwebs in the room, vanity light not working. HVAC unit noisy. The pool closed with no explanation. Internet was subpar. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in and the cord was difficult for a handicapped person to reach to plug it in, same with the coffee maker, the cord was not plugged in and was too short to reach the intended plug. Had to be moved to use it. Remote was missing (they got another one quickly once I reported it) Only door available for entry was front door making parking difficult if you have trouble walking.
Bed was comfortable. Able to get early check-in without difficulty. Enough pillows and towels were available without having to ask. Close to many places with easy access to main roads and restaurants. Older property in desperate need of a make over.

United StatesThe door didn’t lock with the regular lock and the chain lock was barely holding on. The light when you walked in, was above the sink and was very dim to no light. The shower in the bathroom was hard to turn on and off but they did have paper sign on the shower wall saying the shower is hard to adjust.
The lady that checked us in was quick and friendly. There was somehow a mixup with payments and they’re supposed to reimburse me for it.

United StatesDue to what seemed like staffing issues, when I went to the front desk to check in and check out there was no one at the desk. No bell or any way to contact someone. There was a line of three people waiting before we were able to get someone because the gentleman working was folding laundry, assumedly because there was no one else to do it. When we were helped, his job was made even harder by faulty equipment that puts more burden on employees and guests. The room itself was not nearly what I expected from the photos. Areas where paint is peeling off the walls, towels with obvious brown stains on them. Air ventilation in the bathroom was non existent as if the vent wasn't working properly. Patches on the bathroom walls that had been quickly patched with spackle. The door to the bathroom couldn't close because the door wasn't hanging straight. All of these things seem to be a symptom of a lack of care taken for the facility. The staff I spoke with were great in terms of taking care of what I needed. The problem seems to be with the overall management and upkeep of the facilities as a whole. If I only had to pay $65 instead of $115+, I wouldn't be complaining, but $115+ for rooms of that quality made me confident I would rather have spent more money at a better hotel.
The staff that I interacted with were super very helpful and accommodating. I felt bad for them as it seemed like the hotel is struggling with staffing issues.

United StatesWater stains in ceilings, lamps in room were nasty, indoor pool wasn't open as it stated, their breakfast buffet was make your own waffle or cereal. Juice and milk was even spoiled. Even had someone jiggle the door in the middle of the night. Pictures online look better than the actual hotel. Floor tiles were busted in the elevator and the entire place smelled of mildew.

The microwave and fridge needed to be wiped down. There were finger prints and smudges all over them. Just a half assed hurry up job of cleaning everything! They only left decaf coffee in the room. And it seems every hotel that offers breakfast cuts off at 9. When I'm on vacation I want to relax and sleep in....that's what vacations are for! Not rush to grab my free breakfast. Keep it out until check out time!!
