The light switch didn't seem to control any of the lights in the room. All lights had to be turned on at the source. Each lamp had to be turned on by a tiny twist knob.

I was told that they only offered pastries, so we went out for breakfast elsewhere.

The room was not as clean as a person would like, the bath tub had dirt and dead bugs in it, one of the beds had a cover on the box springs that had big stains on it. I tried to pick up one of the table chairs to move it and the back came off, I had to fix that. The room definitely needs updated.

Like I mentioned it was fairly dirty, very dusty, and amenities weren’t great but it did the job and the view made it worthwhile. Plus, we slept with the windows open so we could hear the water while we slept. Loved that part.

My boyfriend goes fishing up here with his grandpa during the summer so we decided we wanted to go up and explore and he could show me all of the places he goes. We stayed at this cute little quaint hotel near where him and his grandpa go fishing. It was so lovely, right on the water, we were the only ones there so it was very quiet. I will say it wasn’t very clean and the amenities weren’t great. The hotel is very utilitarian. It gets the job done but it isn’t all bells and whistles. There isn’t really a breakfast at all and the room was incredibly dusty but we knew going into it that it was more of a fisherman’s hotel. That in mind, it really wasn’t bad and we personally enjoyed it. The staff was very nice.

On booking.com said only 1 room available..smaller bed. There was only 5 people there. So that sucked. We will call Arlington Inn next time to get a king size bed. Especially for the high price for 2 nightd.

We reserved a waterfront room, but got the worst one, with a blocked view due to the location of it. We can't open the blinds without people looking in, and there is no air flow without the filthy air constantly blowing from a very dirty vent. The bathroom wasn't cleaned prior to our check-in so we had to ask for housekeeping the next morning. There is no breakfast or coffee in the room, but the cost was high. The location is literally the only reason we stay there.

We only stay because of the location. We like being in walking distance to everything.

Room was very dated with many patches on the walls. There was mold on the shower curtain and in the shower seams. There was one light switch that controlled the refrigerator too - which we didn’t realize until the day we checked out - so everytime we turned the light off we turned off the fridge. (Wish that had a note explaining!). There was a gap in the entrance door of about 1/8” which allowed the outside in. The bed - the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds my husband and I have ever slept in! It was the old fashioned spring mattresses and let me tell you - you felt every spring! We were both sore and felt beat up after “sleeping” in it! We had stayed elsewhere last fall but for this particular weekend this was the only game in town! Gave the trip an overall 6 as our purpose was not to hang out in the hotel and we enjoyed the visit and experience of Port Clinton on NYE very much!

Staff was friendly. Hotel close to center of downtown which was the primary goal of this trip - we wanted to be able to park the car and walk.

Location was everything although for the price, the rooms are outdated.

This was a perfect location for our needs. The Inn was walking distance to to the Jet Express and a few restaurants. There is a bar with great entertainment. The view of the lake was great!

The room had a bad leak from a rain storm that passed through the area that soaked the carpet. There was food left in the refrigerator from an earlier guest.

The location was the only redeeming value for staying here.
