Mattress was lumpy, and the lighting in the unit odd, i.e., the bathroom lights were on the side of the sink, so shaving one side of my face was done in shadows, etc.

Beds were pretty squishy and when I rolled over my partner was bothered. Walls are thin, we could hear the goings on in the room next to us.

Location couldn’t be beat. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Blaine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Water pressure and shower water was a little tricky. I finally got it hot enough by letting it run for 3 minutes. Room had funky smell of all old motels, buy nothing deal-breaking.

Quaint 50’s style motel with original fir wood ceilings. Everything was very clean. ManAger met me for a late (11pm) check-in. 1/2 block to the beach. Comfortable bed, bed tv with cable. It was all basic but worked for me.

We wanted to sleep in and were woken by people walking by our room in the morning.

We got this place last minute when we went to a concert in Vancouver. The location and the space were great. We plan to go back just to stay there someday and enjoy the town. Definitely recommend especially for families.

Everything was clean and tidy! I have a bad back and usually really suffer in hotels, but the mattress was very comfy, especially for a motel! Very friendly staff, easily accommodated an extra night for me with no hassle! Beautiful location—you can wake up to the bay!

shampoo and soap dispensers were out of soap - no individual bar soap - which is good (less waste), but need to keep the bulk dispenser full.

Consistent.. always stay here when I am going to cross the border the next day. it is simple, not complex - easy to walk to restaurants or just walk through the neighborhoods. Owners are always helpful and pleasant.

The only thing that bothered me was the towels were dingy.

The location was perfect for continuing our trip into Canada. The room had a separate room for the second bed so that was great because we were traveling with another couple.

This is our go-to accommodations when crossing the border headed north. The refreshed rooms are always clean and simple. We can park our car directly in front of the room and then walk to the Main Street for an array of restaurants. Hotels owners are helpful and accommodating. The area is safe and the outside of the hotel is neat and clean.

You could hear your next-door neighbors a bit, but not too bad.

The room was nicely updated and comfortable, the front desk clerk was friendly and responsive, the check-in process was easy, it's located in a quiet neighborhood less than a half-mile walk to downtown, and there was even a bit of a water view from my room (105). Very nice all around!

Clean rooms. I liked having a full kitchen. All the staff was really nice. Our room was cleaned and stocked with towels every morning. The prices are really low compared to the rest of Blain.
