The road you have to cross to get to the beach is busy and pretty fast, definitely requires your full focus.

Loved the grounds and the comfortable bed! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a very cute and cozy stay. It felt very private and all of the basic necessities for the kitchen and bathroom were provided. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy and the person working the desk was helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Anchor Inn has perfect rusticator cabins for those that want to be close to the water and Traverse City Downtown without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed being able to bring our pup with us as well and appreciated the extra mile the staff went to to ensure our comfort!

More than 2 mugs in the room and a kitchen trash can would be helpful.

The private beach with kayaks was an unexpected bonus to a stay that matched our expectations. The staff was very friendly. The property is lovely and it is clear that a lot of care went into setting up a welcoming environment. My kids loved the giant TV and the memory foam mattress was so comfortable!

Anchor Inn was SO cute and cozy. As they describe, it's definitely rustic but they had great outdoor amenities, a close walk to the water and a close drive to everything we wanted to visit. It was perfect for a last minute fall wine weekend.

i wished housekeeping would at least vacuum and make the beds when they come in. the one thing they need to at least update is the door handles, they’re old and i almost got locked in the bathroom because i couldn’t get it to turn.

loved the rooms and the location

The parking situation was awful. I came back to room late evening and found no parking places. When I squeezed into a very small spot I awoke to find the side of my truck badly damaged and deeply scratched and a very nasty note left on the door. Office was closed at 9:00am and no one to talk to about it. Poor customer service.

    There was no breakfast
