Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing - such an affordable, clean, kind option in Port Angeles!
This motel is head and shoulders above the rest! One of my all time favorites. The owner is so sweet and helpful - she gave me water as I checked out as she said the day would be hot. The rooms are comfortable - not much in the way of decor - but clean and enough space. There were so many extras - coffee, four bottles of water, maps, a huge TV with HBO, and my room came with a kitchenette! I didn't use it, but it could have come in very handy. The location is perfect - close to downtown and close to the Olympic National Park Visitor's Center. I stayed two nights and can't offer enough praise for this special motel.

excellent price, the hotel is clean and has a good interior, we arrived late at night and they were waiting for us, after checking out we had nowhere to leave our things and the employees kindly offered us to leave our things in the hotels under guard, this helped us a lot. Great hotel for the money) Thank you!!

Language communication with front desk was just little challenging, but I just needed a bit more patience and I found out all I needed and more.
Affordable option right in town; ferry dock is close and accessible, especially for morning departure. Simple room with a real kitchen attached. Right on main road, but did not notice traffic sounds Sunday night to Monday morning. Would stay again when using the ferry. Owner was very helpful with information, volunteering details with a smile.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about here. I wish all lodging experiences were like this property.
Check in is so easy and the parking is right out the front door. The TV system cannot be matched by any other place in the area. The TV is huge and there are many channels, The wifi is excellent and not spotty. There is always ice in the large fridge and my room had a pantry and stove. There are utinsels to use in the laundry room. They just ask you to clean it and supply you with the dish soap and sponge. There is a very nice microwave too, and a small coffee maker with to go cups. The shower is a bit small, but has strong pressure with plenty of hot water. There is a bonus soap and shampoo dispenser which is way better than single use products. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels too. The room is spotlessly cleaned, and the property is well maintained. I absolutely love the folks who run the Angeles motel. They are so friendly and welcoming to their guests and go out of the way to make sure your stay is nice. I rate this property as the gold standard for staying in Port Angeles...

Nothing. Everything was great!
Room was clean, well equipped. Water bottles, coffee, etc. The bathroom was roomy and shower was nice. The staff was very friendly and kind. Location was great! Close to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, etc. The national park visitor center was literally 5 minutes away. Definitely will be staying here again!

The beds are a bit high for us short people.
Very clean. An older motel but well-maintained. Surprised to get a full kitchen at this very low price. Good shower.

Water wasn't quite hot enough, quick showers.

All was good. They paid attention to details.
Appeared to be newly remodeled. All was bright and clean. Bed comfortable, furnishings were in good shape and there is a full size fridge! Owners very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again.

Lovely staff constantly trying to make our stay perfect. The heating in the room was efficient and I liked that cutlery and dishes could be grabbed from a common area as needed.

Some of the bathroom fixtures could be updated.
Very Sweet staff! Room was not fancy but had everything I needed on a travel trip for a great price. The bathroom could use a little updating, but everything worked well and there was an abundance of complimentary, water, coffee, etc. It'd great that they have laundry and kitchen facilities on site. My room this time didn't have a kitchen, but had a full sized fridge wich was great! The staff are super friendly and gave me some great advice on where to eat dinner in town. I've stayed here before and will back on my next time through. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable. : )

I loved everything! Not at all unhappy!
The friendliness of the staff, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. You get a whole kitchenette, and it is a great value! I love the location! The staff was kind enough to let me know that I had left a necklace there, and it had great sentimental value!
