We prefer to be ocean front but this was only a block to the ocean and so affordable. Our room was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The owners are always present to maintain high standards of hospitality. We'll definitely go back.

I guess only the loud sound of AC for a little studio, it was noisy. And a little bit humidity smell but it wasn't a big deal for us.

The location was perfect,2 minutes away from the beach and dining places. Next to it is 7-11 and Walgreen if you don't want to drive or walk after a long day on the beach, or if you have a kid, and in case of emergency It's a very safe and perfect choice!

The only downside was the evaporative coolers in the rooms. When it's so hot and humid, they do cool the room, but they also make everything, including the sheets damp and sticky, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. I would highly recommend upgrading the room coolers.

We loved how quaint and clean the cottage was! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the front desk clerk, Norma had some excellent recommendations for great restaurants within waking distance. The cottage is also a perfect location for easy walking access to the beach.

I loved that we were could walk across the street and be at the beach. Everything is so close including great seafood at CP Shuckers just across the street and many other great shops and restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the grounds were very quiet and relaxing

Only thing i didn't like was our cable kept going out like every minute, probably a cable box but was no biggie

We throughly ejoyed the room and the premises.....the music at the beach was horrid and was so loud we could hear over the air conditioning when we tried to sleep.

I think the room was nice. Some of the things were a little out dated, but for a travel room it was good. The staff was noice and the location was excellent...except for the 24th street music park (that was disgusting)

It was pretty close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was nice. And it had a outside shower for rinsing off all the sand.

A few touches ( while inexpensive for the owners) could have made it much more welcoming: put dish soap in the kitchen, put plates and cups in the kitchen, ensure the remote is fully functional, instant coffee... The rate was a fair rate for the location, but not a cheapo rate.

The staff was very gracious, kind, and helpful. The location was excellent.

The TV didn't work, but it didn't bother us as we didn't plan to watch TV anyway. Each night (4th of July weekend), the street party kicked in, we opted to lay low, to avoid the street activity as that's not who we are. We turned on the bathroom ceiling fan to give us "white noise" and went to sleep. The air conditioner made noises, but it didn't bother the family as it reminded them of the washing machine spinning out at home. The negatives were manageable for us.

Two small blocks and we were at the ocean, it was close and we enjoyed it each morning. The accommodations were adequate, the apartment was upstairs with a small balcony, with 5 in our party, everyone had a bed (not a wheeled-in cot). The place had "character", it wasn't like the high-rise beach hotels, but that suited us, as this is what we're used to.

Cottage came with a refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, microwave…. But not one pan,not one spoon,not one coffee cup etc to cook with. Upon checkout, no one was in the office and there was no answer on either phone number. Though it’s nice that the beach is a block away, the 7-11 is across the street and is a hang out…. Very crowded with people hanging outside ALL hours of the night.

The cottage was very clean. Designated area for parking.

The cottage is showing its age. The floors slope really bad. The shower is very small-you can basically turn around in it. There is a motion detector flood light that came on and shined right in the window next to the bed off and on all night. They didn't empty the garbage the entire time we were there.

Only negative: I wish there was a little more sound insulation. I could hear every time the guests staying in the room above mine were moving around.

Perfect location; within walking distance of just about everything I wanted to visit. Exceptionally clean. Great private outdoor seating area. Kitchenette was a nice bonus.

I felt a little nervous at first because a lot of guys hang out around the front of the building the twin bed was very hard
